Aminanimasoul has allowed us to experiment with new visions and new possibilities to promote through the work of many Sardinian artists who work in the contemporary arts around the world and who, despite having left their homeland, bring with them a baggage cultural and identity that also often emerges involuntarily together with their talent. We have got some of these artists back to reconnect with the land that inspired them, and the real surprise was to see how this bond was much more universal than we had thought. Nature emerges and creates rules in artistic vision and production. "Creativity" belongs to Nature. The artist has the talent to bring into dialogue the rhythms and vibrations that spread from Nature in the surrounding world and in the thousand million paths that these rhythms and beats can take. In Sardinia, there is something unexpectedly intact and ancient. Vital for its purity. Sardinia is unquestionably a Woman with strength, courage, and reassurance, like the maternal womb where everything begins and where everything is protected. This was a priceless find.
Today AMINA has become a precise image, a woman who wears all the symbols of Sardinia with pride. A woman who extends her arms to welcome the future without fear. AMINA continues on her journey and takes every opportunity to study, experiment, and act with many different people.
The pandemic has revealed the real AMINA by changing the path of the original project, improving it, and clarifying that the goal is reachable day after day and never alone.
AMINA starts once again from afar, from North America, with a large group of Sardinian emigrants, Sardinian descendants, Sardinians by choice, and aspiring Sardinians.
We welcome AMINA! Thank Mara Damiani, for making it so beautiful!

Iso...

ÀMINA>ANIMA (Soul) is the metaphor of a round-trip journey to discover and reveal the value of Sardinia and of its universal values through contemporary art and cultural exchange
Re-interpreted in today’s language: can tradition still be considered the cultural identity of a place? Are there any enterprises out there, able to create value and opportunities for Sardinia’s cultural and archeological heritage in today’s competitive market?
Arts is a “liquid matter”, a starting point, a place of cross-contamination and enrichment. It molds and reclaims its original meaning as in the philosophical principle of “identity and contradiction”. It becomes a style and a behavioral module.
This project was conceived on the assumption that every cultural identity cannot be explained in any other way but with its identification with “Soul”.
Anima>Àmina, is the impalpable soul perceived through the repetition of ancestral rites that have the power to convey their strength especially if experienced in the land where they were born and where they continue to be performed. From our analysis of the latest touristic trends and flows, it is clear that in today’s sophisticated travel market, living an experience is what primarily drives people to travel. To be an actual part of that experience is the added value that modern travelers look for.
How can the magic surrounding a thousand-year-old culture be transmitted outside of its birthplace?
Art is the medium. We believe that from the link between art, culture, and travel it is possible to develop strategies and actions to attract new flows of those visitors who are fascinated by places filled with ancestral rites that permeate the territory, as well as the artisanal productions and the popular traditions that are the nourishment of the contemporary language of any artistic discipline.
Travel and Soul are the keywords that inspire and drive this project.
