Since childhood she has displayed a natural talent for drawing and painting inherited from her father, a painter and poet. While growing up, she decided to dedicate herself to other activities and she obtained her degree in public relations, while continuing to paint in her free time. She worked for ten years in the world of communication, at an advertising agency in Milan (Del Monte & Partner Com

The year 2012 marked the start of a new direction, when Thelli (Helenia's artistic pseudonym) began to paint on T-shirts with the goal of making wearable art and having it move around the world together with the people wearing it. In the same year, she opened an on-line shop on Etsy.com, the American platform for handmade goods. In 2013, after a fall from a horse that kept her in bed for 3 months, Thelli decided to leave her job in communication and set out with her son and her partner to Gran Canaria, with the goal of dedicating herself completely to art and creativity. For Thelli, the creative act becomes a ritual of initiation, the experience of death in life in order to reawaken in movement, in the continuous flow of creation. Thelli's Art In Movement also continues on canvas, where the horse, with which she begins a journey of spiritual growth, is painted red to represent the unstoppable instinct of movement, of life, and of self-knowledge. This is the start of a new adventure for Thelli and Art In Movement. Nace en Bari, y a los siete años se traslada a Milán. Desde niña manifiesta un talento natural por el diseño y la pintura, heredado de su padre, pintor y poeta. Al crecer decide dedicarse a otra cosa y se gradúa en Relaciones Públicas, mientras sigue pintando en su tiempo libre; trabaja durante diez años en el mundo de la comunicación, en una agencia publicitaria de Milán (Del Monte & Partner Comunicazione). 2012 marca el inicio del cambio, Thelli (nombre artístico de Helenia) comienza a pintar sobre camisetas con la intención de hacer el arte utilizable y hacerlo circular por el mundo junto con las personas que las llevan. Nace de este modo el AIM, Arte In Movimento de Thelli. Ese mismo año abre una tienda online en Etsy.com, la plataforma estadounidense de la artesanía. En 2013, y tras una caída de un caballo que la retiene en cama durante tres meses, Thelli decide dejar su trabajo en el mundo de la comunicación y partir con su hijo y su compañero. Destino: Gran Canaria; objetivo: dedicarse de lleno al arte, crear. El acto creativo se convierte para Thelli en el ritual de iniciación, en experimentar la muerte en vida para despertarse al movimiento, al flujo continuo de la creación. El Art In Movement de Thelli se plasma también sobre el lienzo, donde el caballo, con el que inicia un camino de crecimiento espiritual, se tiñe de rojo para representar un infatigable instinto hacia el movimiento, hacia la vida, hacia el conocimiento de uno mismo. Así empieza la nueva aventura de Thelli y del Art In Movement. Thelli ha expuesto por primera vez en el exclusivo marco de la Galería de Arte de la Feria Equina del Spruce Meadows Masters, en Calgary, Alberta (Canadá), del 9 al 13 de septiembre de 2015.
