Dall’archivio fotografico.
Un frammento della vita e del lavoro di Algimantas Mikalauskis, tra la fine degli anni Ottanta e l’inizio degli anni Novanta.
Le fotografie conservate nell’Archivio affiancano le opere e i documenti nella ricostruzione del percorso dell’artista. Immagini nate nella dimensione privata diventano oggi testimonianze preziose del contesto in cui prendeva forma il suo linguaggio artistico.

Algimanto Mikalauskio gyvenimo ir kūrybos fragmentas iš XX a. 9-ojo dešimtmečio pabaigos – 10-ojo dešimtmečio pradžios.
Archyve saugomos fotografijos, kartu su kūriniais ir dokumentais, padeda atkurti menininko kūrybinį kelią. Kadaise asmeniniais liudijimais buvę vaizdai šiandien tampa vertingais dokumentais, atskleidžiančiais aplinką, kurioje formavosi jo savita meninė kalba.

A fragment of Algimantas Mikalauskis’ life and work, between the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Together with artworks and documents, the photographs preserved in the Archive contribute to reconstructing the artist’s creative path. Images once belonging to the private sphere now become valuable records of the context in which his distinctive artistic language took shape.
