Over 200 guests gathered at the Cattedrale dell'Immagine in Florence for a special evening in support of Smile Project Onlus' initiatives in Eritrea, in dialogue with the photographs of Alessandro Moggi.⁣⁣

Under the artistic direction of Laura Tosetti, we chose to support the initiative by handling all technical aspects: indoor and outdoor lighting, audio system and the live performance by pianist Danilo Rea, with in-room projection via remotely operated cameras.⁣⁣
⁣
For the dinner curated by Galateo Ricevimenti, we created mirrored table surfaces with an antique effect, illuminated by our Excalibur, battery-powered table chandeliers.⁣⁣
⁣
Guest welcome was entrusted to an elegant duo of violinists from our roster of artists, and the fund auction was held from our custom-built podium.⁣⁣

A special thanks to Maria Augruso, who opened the doors of this breathtaking location to us and supported us with great helpfulness and enthusiasm, and to Elsa Michael, President of Smile Project, for her commitment and dedication.⁣

Sotto la direzione artistica di Laura Tosetti, abbiamo scelto di sostenere l'iniziativa curando tutti gli aspetti tecnici: illuminazione di interni ed esterni, impianto audio e la performance live del pianista Danilo Rea, con rimando in sala attraverso telecamere remotate. ⁣⁣

Per la cena firmata Galateo Ricevimenti, abbiamo realizzato piani tavolo specchiati dall'effetto anticato, illuminati dalle nostre Excalibur, table chandeliers a batteria.⁣⁣

L'accoglienza ospiti è stata affidata a un raffinato duo di violiniste della nostra rosa di artisti, mentre l’asta di beneficenza si è svolta dal podio di nostra realizzazione.⁣⁣

At Kaleydo, customization is the principle from which every project takes shape.

Our in-house creative team manages the entire process, including graphic development, palette validation, material selection, and technical specifications. We test every variable that could impact the setup, as there is no room for error on the day of the event in order to provide our clients the perfect final result they expect.

A project like this one, realized at Vignamaggio, is the result of a long process made of attempts, adjustments, and decisions taken one step at a time.

There is rare beauty in celebrations that last for days, bring families together, and cherish traditions.

The Indian wedding at Il Borro, in Tuscany, showcased the vibrant sounds and colors of two cultures and aesthetics, each enhanced by the unique setting.

Over three days, we provided sound, lighting, visuals, and our LED dance floor for 250 guests, supporting Indian wedding rituals and ceremonies, including the cocktail party, gala, haldi, baraat, and sangeet.

We find satisfaction in our guests’ enjoyment and the harmonious collaboration with the teams from Bianco Bouquet.

C'è una bellezza rara nelle celebrazioni che durano giorni, che radunano famiglie intere e custodiscono tradizioni preziose.

Suoni e colori di un matrimonio indiano al Borro, nel cuore della Toscana: due culture, due estetiche, e una terra che ha saputo accogliere e valorizzare entrambe.

Audio, luci, visual e il nostro dance floor LED hanno illuminato la 3 giorni di evento, con 250 invitati e tanti momenti tra cocktail party, gala, haldi, baraat e sangeet: tutti rituali e cerimonie nuziali tipici della cultura indiana.

Per noi di Kaleydo, la soddisfazione sta nei sorrisi degli ospiti e nell’armonia creata con gli altri team della squadra di Bianco Bouquet.

For the inauguration of the "Rothko in Florence" exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi, Kaleydo collaborated to design and install the audio systems and lighting design for the opening events of this major project, in one of the most iconic landmarks of Florence's historic centre.

The rigor and care required when working in a Renaissance palace always drives us to seek non-invasive solutions: minimal cabling, attention to detail, and the utmost focus on the safety of the attending audience.

We aimed to create visual continuity between the exhibition spaces and the reception areas for the invitation-only evenings, playing with the architecture of the Palazzo: grand arcaded colonnades, imposing staircases, and open-beam loggias, all enhanced with the right lighting to highlight the spaces and create atmospheres in keeping with the event.

The musical programme featured a series of themed DJ sets and live performances to accompany all the opening evenings, which counted among their protagonists Christopher Rothko — son of the great artist and co-curator of the exhibition alongside Elena Geuna.

⚜️ "Rothko in Florence" is open at Palazzo Strozzi until 23 August 2026, every day from 10:00 to 20:00, and on Thursdays until 23:00.

In occasione dell’inaugurazione della mostra “Rothko a Firenze” a Palazzo Strozzi, Kaleydo ha collaborato per realizzare gli impianti audio e il lighting design degli eventi inaugurali di questo grande progetto, in uno dei luoghi simbolo del centro storico fiorentino.

Il rigore e l’attenzione richiesta nell’operare in un palazzo rinascimentale ci spinge sempre a cercare soluzioni non invasive. Pochi cablaggi, cura dei dettagli e massima attenzione alla sicurezza dell’affluenza del pubblico.

Abbiamo voluto creare una continuità visiva tra gli spazi espositivi e quelli di accoglienza delle serate a invito, giocando con l’architettura del Palazzo: grandi arcate con colonnati, scale imponenti e loggiati con travi a vista vanno valorizzati con le giuste luci per esaltare gli spazi e creare atmosfere in linea con l’evento.

La programmazione musicale ha visto l’alternarsi di DJ set tematici e performance live per accompagnare tutte le serate inaugurali, che hanno visto tra i protagonisti Christopher Rothko, figlio del grande artista e co-curatore della mostra insieme a Elena Geuna.

⚜️ “Rothko a Firenze” è aperta a Palazzo Strozzi fino al 23 agosto 2026, tutti i giorni dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 20.00 e il giovedì fino alle 23.00.
