My idea is to make the beauty and the complexity of Japanese bondage known, introducing it as something positive and enjoyable; with ropes we communicate, with ropes we create bonds. The gazes of people I meet keep me carrying out what I believe in: the smiling gazes of those who find out the beauty of doing ropes, the emotional ones of those who are able to achieve something for the first time, t
he satisfied ones of my followers. My project is constantly evolving: I created my style and my technique in which the tradition merges with innovation. In 2017 I created a new project: Nawame, a free resource that gathers our tutorials and vlogs. It’s the diary of my daily commitment, the story of my research, of my experiences and my life. For me ropes are a media of communication with witch we can talk about things which are difficult to express with words. With ropes we tell stories, we talk about us, our needs, fears, our most intimate sides.
