Good morning, everyone!! On the second day of this year’s Dylan’s Week—the 15th edition in 2026—we realized that it’s worth being saved by poetry and music, as the poet Chiara Rantini so gracefully put it!! What better place to write poetry alongside the magnificence of Florence than “Gli Orti del Parnaso”? So we wanted to set an example and blaze a trail. The home of poetry should always be this stunning spot—the antithesis of Piazzale Michelangelo—where there’s never too many people, precisely because, as Chiara Rantini points out, that place should now be a “Code Red” zone!! Together with Giacomo Zanieri Benigni and Leage Leage, we staged a slam dedicated to Dylan, to beauty, to peace, and to the grace of poetry. We invite you, if you’d like to listen, to the entire segment featuring all the poets and the magnificent backdrop that lit up the day at the Orti del Parnaso.

Nella seconda giornata della Dylan s Week di quest anno 2026 edizione 15 , abbiamo capito che vale la pena essere salvati dalla poesia e dalla Musica come ha poetato piena di Graziala poetessa Chiara Rantini , !! Qual è il luogo ideale per poetare assieme alla Magnificenza di Firenze ' Gli Orti del parnaso . Ed allora abbiamo voluto dare un esempio e tracciare una strada. La sede della poesia dovrebbe essere sempre questo stupendo luogo antitetico a Piazzale Michelangelo dove non circola mai troppa gente proprio perchè oramai quella che indica Chiara Rantini dovrebbe essere un Codice Rosso !! Assieme a Giacomo Zanieri Benigni ed Leage Leage abbiamo inscenato una slam dedicata a Dylan alla bellezza alla Pace alla Grazia della Poesia . La Bob Dylan s Week splende su Firenze grazie all aiuto Santo di un Anima Superiore come Bernardo Francesco Gianni , che con un discorso sgorgato dal cuore scova e nobilita gli intenti di cotanto sforzo e parafrasandolo ,di cotanta bellezza . Per quanto sia stato logico immaginare un urlo disarmato contro i Signori della Guerra , altrettanto è stato difficile portare sotto il sole cocente un manipolo di artisti coraggiosi sul Sagrato Sacro della Basilica di San Miniato al Monte e sciorinare varie versioni del mai troppo ascoltato inno dylaniano alla Pace . Aiutati e confortati dal grande cuore Cristiano di Padre Bernardo , anche grazie all aiuto pratico del Vip's Bar - Firenze , di un grande sostenitore come Tommaso Capecchi , e di Medialab Firenze di Fulvio Vasarri sponsor tecnico . Abbiamo sintetizzato tutti gli sforzi di una settimana, ma anche di 15 anni di Dylan s week, in un evento sognato da tempo : cantare Blowin in the wind in tutte le lingue del mondo e farlo dalla mestosità della Basilica di San Miniato al Monte diretto verso il mondo !! La meravigliosamente misericordiosa intro di Padre Bernardo Francesco Gianni ci ha fatto capire che la strada è quella giusta . Bob Dylan’s Week shines upon Florence thanks to the divine assistance of a noble soul like Bernardo Francesco Gianni, who, with a speech that flowed from the heart, uncovers and elevates the intentions behind such a tremendous effort—and, to paraphrase, such beauty. As logical as it was to imagine a defiant cry against the warlords, it was equally difficult to bring a handful of courageous artists under the scorching sun to the sacred forecourt of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte and perform various versions of Dylan’s timeless hymn to peace. Aided and comforted by the great Christian heart of Father Bernardo, and also thanks to the practical help of Vip’s Bar – Florence, a great supporter like Tommaso Capecchi, and Medialab Florence under Fulvio Vasarri as technical sponsor. We have distilled all the efforts of a week, but also of 15 years of Dylan’s Week, into an event long dreamed of: singing “Blowin’ in the Wind” in all the languages of the world and doing so from the solemnity of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, directed toward the world!! Father Bernardo Francesco Giani’s wonderfully merciful introduction made us realize that this is the right path. We thank Luis Sanchez, Pepe Yanez Casas, Gabriele Savarese, Guglielmo Sklemba, Carmains De Iaco, John Mostert, Arianna Pieri, Yong Zhang, Soufiana Kaba, Manuela Limongelli, Patrizia Iagulli and Sigfrido Gesu. In the company of Luis Sanchez, Pepe Yanez Casas, Gabriele Savarese, Guglielmo Sklemba, Carmains De Iaco, Liutaio, Yong Zhang, and Pieri, we did an excellent job that will soon be compiled into a single video clip. Oggi è il giorno in cui con molta modestia cercheremo , grazie all aiuto Santo di un Anima Superiore come Bernardo Francesco Gianni , all aiuto pratico del Vip's Bar - Firenze e di un grande sostenitore come Tommaso Capecchi , sintetizzeremo tutti gli sforzi di una settimana, ma nche di 15 anni di Dylan s week, con un evento che sognavo da tempo : cantare Blowin in the wind in tutte le lingue del mondo e farlo dalla mestosità della Basilica di San Miniato al Monte diretto verso il mondo !! Buongiorno a tutti/e !! Ieri alla Bob Dylan s Week è successo ciò che non dovrebbe mai succedere !! Un gruppo di fantomatici poeti , tra cui il poeta pagliaccio Peter Genito è riuscito nell impresa disperata di decidere che un evento non si fa perchè non hai voglia , denunciando coi la pochezza di tanti pseudo artisti che ci sono in giro. In 15 anni di Bob Dylan s Week mai era successo . Ed il bello è che c era gente ad aspettarli !! Mi complimento anche con Edoardo Olmi e Becherelli per aver partecipato a questa allucinante mancanza di rispetto verso se stessi perchè c era i loro nome sul poster da circa un mese alla del Popolo San Niccolò !! Sembra uno scherzo ma ... in ogni caso con gli spettatori arrivati abbiamo portato a termine almeno la parte musicale , ed a farci passare la collera ci ha pensato lo Alimentare dove è andata in onda una serata magnifica , resa prestigiosa dalla presenza dell artista olandese John. Chiediamo scusa anche noi ma vi invitiamo oggi a non perdere se potete il fantastico Dylan vs Dante con Seriacopi alla del popolo Rinascita a Sesto Fiorentino alle 16.00 . Good morning, everyone!! Yesterday at Bob Dylan’s Week, something happened that should never have happened!! A group of so-called poets—including the clown-poet Peter Genito—managed the desperate feat of deciding that an event shouldn’t take place just because they didn’t feel like it, thereby exposing the pettiness of so many pseudo-artists out there. In 15 years of Bob Dylan’s Week, this has never happened before. And the best part is that there were people waiting for them!! I also want to congratulate Edoardo Olmi and Gabriella Becherelli for participating in this mind-boggling lack of respect for themselves, since their names had been on the poster for about a month at the del Popolo San Niccolò!! It seems like a joke, but... in any case, with the audience that showed up, we at least managed to get through the musical part, and the Spaccio Alimentare helped us get over our anger by hosting a magnificent evening, made even more prestigious by the presence of the Dutch artist John. We apologize as well, but we invite you today not to miss, if you can, the fantastic Dylan vs. Dante with Seriacopi at the del Popolo Rinascita in Sesto Fiorentino at 4:00 PM. Buongiorno a tutti/e !! Ieri alla Bob Dylan s Week abbiamo avuto l onore di ospitare una lezione universitaria della Facoltà di Giornalismo della Università del Mississippi !!!! Sembra uno scherzo ma lo scherzo se lo fanno quelli che blaterano sempre di Dylan di Musica di Incontri internazionali, quelli che si lamentano sempre che a Firenze non succede nulla etc ! Sono sempre wuelli che non escono mai a raccontare una città che non esiste e purtroppo a nascondere la bellezza e le posssibilità di una città unica !! C era anche la Class con studenti (pochi) e studentesse ( tante ) e c è stato un piccolo open mic , con Alberto Lovisi e con Alessandro De Sa ; le conferenze dei prof R.J. Morgan Jason Cain Mark Dolan ; il concerto con Alessandro Abba e lo stesso Jason Cain e due chitarre elettriche infiammate dalla voglia di esserci ! Ringraziamo anche Sergio Salaorni per la parte tecnica !! Good morning, everyone!! Yesterday at Bob Dylan Week, we had the honor of hosting a university lecture from the School of Journalism at the University of Mississippi!!!! It sounds like a joke, but the joke is on those who are always rambling about Dylan, music, and international events—those who are always complaining that nothing ever happens in Florence, etc.! It’s always the same people who never go out to talk about a city that doesn’t exist and, unfortunately, to hide the beauty and possibilities of a unique city!! There was also a class with (a few) male students and (many) female students, and there was a small open mic session with Alberto Lovisi and Alessandro De Sa; lectures by professors R.J. Morgan, Jason Cain, and Mark Dolan; the concert with Alessandro Abba and Jason Cain himself, along with two electric guitars ablaze with the desire to be there! We also thank Sergio Salaorni for the technical support!! Today, Friday, May 22, two more wonderful events: at 6:00 PM at the Casa del Popolo San Niccolò, the poets with Peter Genito, Gabriella Becherelli, Edoardo Olmi, and Margherita Loconsolo beso milarò Allegri, always accompanied by the guitar of , and afterwards we’ll all head up to Alimentare for another acoustic live set, all in the name of Bob Dylan!!
