3 new books in progress "Oh Sicily Vol.2", "The Sicilians" and "Shot in the Darc"

Following the success of the Sicilian theme from my first book, which is mostly of the landscapes, sites, beauty, and the sea of Sicily, this new book is a black-and-white street photography book— adapted from my photo series from the last 3 years “The Sicilians”.
It will portray people and the lives, joys, and challenges of the Sicilian people through candid images of the diverse stories of Sicilians from all walks of life. It is inspired by and will be a homage to Robert Frank’s 'The Americans.'

✝️The Holy Week in Enna is a spectacular event and is also a protected asset by UNESCO. This is the Holy Friday procession when a parade consisting of about 3000 people from confraternities dressed as hooded penitents all go to the Cathedral for the Solemn Procession. They walk in procession before the “Vare” of Christ and His Mother, starting the funeral procession that will cross the city. It dates back to XVI century. The procession is followed by a marching band that plays the most beautiful and solemn music for what they call Jesus’s funeral procession along the medieval streets of Enna. It’s unbelievable and is like being transported to the past!
