Katharina Theresa Mayr is an interdisciplinary process artist whose work is deeply rooted in conceptual exploration. Using a variety of research methods, she expresses her artistic vision through large-scale abstract drawings, language (both written and spoken), and performative elements. Her practice delves into socio-cultural structures, body perception, and the fluidity of human form.
From traditional media to innovative technologies such as 3D printing, her work creates immersive installations where floating body fragments and neon statements shape the space. Oscillating between scenario, ideology, utopia, and heterotopia, her pieces invite the viewer to step beyond the threshold into new perspectives and possibilities.
