Gifts of Nature exhibition by Italian sculptor Giuseppe Carta at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku
Giuseppe Carta, established and famous for his iconic chili peppers and big fruits of the Earth, describes the Heydar Aliyev Center as one of the most significant art venues in the world.
Reflecting on his artistic journey, Carta explains that all of his creations are Germinations and through them he gives thanks to Nature and the Life it gives us every day.
Although the subject matter interpreted may seem simple, Carta's sculptures convey a profound value of Nature's bounty and with it a universal artistic message dedicated to the Earth and its very existence. All of his art revolves around Nature, its realistic narrative, and the generosity of the Earth, which he represents as universal symbols of life, existence, identity, hope, growth and rebirth.
His artworks evoke a melancholic yet tangible harmony of the natural unfolding of life and affirm the eternal beauty of Nature and its unstoppable regeneration.
The Gifts of Nature exhibition will be on display at the Heydar Aliyev Center until January 2026.
