जयत्वं देवी चामुंडे जय भूतापहारिणी।
जय सर्वगते देवि कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥
Maa Chamunda is the fierce manifestation of Bhagwati Adi Parashakti, representing the supreme power to annihilate ignorance and evil. Her divine origin is chronicled in the Devi Mahatmya during the battle against the demon generals Chanda and Munda. As they attempted to attack Goddess Ambika, a terrifying and invincible form emerged from the Goddess’s furrowed brow. With an emaciated, skeletal frame where the bones are visible, she is adorned with a garland of skulls, a crown of fire, and is seated upon a Preta (co**se) as her throne. Armed with sacred weaponry, she swiftly decapitated the demons and presented their heads to Goddess Ambika, who then bestowed upon her the title 'Chamunda.'
As one of the Saptamatrikas, her form serves as a profound reminder that the Divine Mother is not just a nurturing, peaceful presence. In times of crisis, she sheds her gentle form to become a fierce protector. She shatters fear, destroys the ego, and breaks every chain that holds one back from moving forward in life.

Maa Mahalakshmi is the direct and supreme manifest form of the formless, eternal Ādiparāśakti Parāmbā. As proclaimed in the Durga Saptashati and Devi Bhagavatam, this entire universe is but a divine play (Leela-Krida) of Her will. In the beginning, when neither being nor non-being existed, She alone remained as the eternal, formless Power beyond thought. By Her own sovereign will to create the cosmos, She assumed the majestic form of Sarvasādyā Mahālakṣmī Caṇḍī.
She is both the perceived goal (Lakshya) and the unperceivable source (Alakshya); though She pervades the three Gunas (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas), She remains untouched by their bonds. Bearing the mātuluṅga (citron), gadā (mace), kheṭa (shield), and pānapātra (drinking bowl), She sustains creation and shatters adharma. Resplendent like molten gold and adorned with radiant ornaments, She bears upon Her crown the Nāga (signifying Kula-Kuṇḍalinī) and the Linga-Yoni, proclaiming the inseparable union of Shiva and Shakti.
She is the Moolchandika who annihilated the demon Kolhasur, earning the name Kolhasurbhayankari. Among the 18 Maha Shaktipeethas, the sacred Karveer Dham in Kolhapur, Maharashtra—where the three eyes (Trinetra) of Mata Sati are said to have fallen—is dedicated to this very Moolchandika Mahalakshmi, affectionately worshipped by devotees as Mahalakshmi Ambabai. She is the origin of all, and unto Her, all eventually return.

विन्ध्यानिलया विश्वजननी, जयतु आदिपराशक्तिः🌺🙏
Maa Vindhyavasini, the presiding deity of the Vindhya region, is the direct manifestation of Adi Shakti and the supreme Parabrahm Swarupini. She is called Vindhyavasini because she chose the Vindhya mountains as her eternal abode. Ancient scriptures like the Markandeya Purana and Devi Bhagavata extol her glory, identifying her as 'Krishna-Sahodari' (the sister of Lord Krishna); she is the same Devi Yogmaya who took birth as the daughter of Yashoda to assist Lord Krishna and destroy demons. This sacred site is not a Shaktipeeth where a part of the Goddess's body fell, but a 'Siddha Peeth' where Adi Shakti herself resides physically (Sasharir) with her full, absolute divine powers. She is renowned as 'Yogmaya' because the entire cosmic illusion is under her command; it was the influence of this Yogmaya that caused everyone to fall into a deep sleep at the time of Krishna's birth, allowing paths to open despite all obstacles.
She is worshipped as the primordial energy responsible for the protection, sustenance, and governance of the universe, where the Tridevi—Mahalakshmi (Vindhyavasini), Mahasaraswati, and Mahakali—these three Mahashaktis together form the unique and holy Trikon Peeth Yantra.
