Have you heard...there are no motor vehicles in Matheran?

Yes! For so long, it has been known as Asia's only automobile-free hill station. Since the place had been declared as an eco-spot by the government, automobiles are banned in this location.

But how do the residents and visitors travel here then?🤔
The place has about 500 ponies, 450 horses and a 100 hand-pulled rickshaws!! 😋🐎🍁🍂

And ofcourse, a toy train. 🚂🛤😌

However, as per sources, Matheran will soon witness the arrival of e-rickshaws! 😯

But this specific blue doorstep will come 63 kms ahead of Bhuj city center, on your way towards The Road to Heaven, the Great White Rann, Gujarat.

It is the doorstep of a noble soul from the Meghwal community, residents of the Hodka (or Hodko) village, who will leave no stones unturned to make sure you are well fed for your journey ahead!! 😋🥰🥺🤌💖💝

A very special view point in Matheran...why🧐😏?

The Khandala ghats are visible from here!! 😋😍🤠

Full of such view points, Matheran allows its residents and visitors a plethora of breathtaking glimpses of western ghats. A span of mere 2-3 days will certainly not be enough for you to take in all of it. 😌
