We’ve never been big on promoting ourselves and rarely ever feature pictures of the two of us on social media. But today is different. Here we are Jhanvi and Raksh*t sharing our story. This post and the next few are an ode to this journey, the behind the scenes and the values with which we operate.

Our dwelling side to the design world.

With an open planning requirement comes the blending of spaces interconnected to each other. Here we have tried to use the materials and composition of walls in a way that all compliment the larger space holding multiple activities, maintaining the overall calming feel.

Seen here is the internal staircase leading to the dining area and kitchen on the first floor.

I A calming abode I

The living room typifies the approach to the residence's interiors as a marriage of volume with the materials. To a varied proportions of the elements in the double height space, the lower window, t.v unit and the book stand are scaled to a seated human level. The walls at the upper level are kept connected making it a unified mass and rendered in monolith concrete texture. The space is envisioned to give a feel of luxury , yet offers a sense of comfort and ease with its minimal material palette.

I A calming abode I

The foyer has a stone bench stationed for a waiting purpose that is enclosed by a textured wooden paneling, adding an element of warmth to this monolithic grey mass. Alongside we have a home office that frames the courtyard through a big opening. The stretched fabric light tones down the contrast creating a calming environment.

The head office design for Tribeni Group of Companies is a synthesis of the firm’s rich heritage and diverse portfolio, which encompasses various sectors for generations. The concept planning adheres to the principles of Vastu of courtyard planning, creating a harmonious and functional space. The executive and manager cabins are on the periphery, while the center is an open workstation that emulates the courtyard. The basic structure of the office is kept solid and raw with exposed ceilings and rustic grey wall texture fortifying the boundaries. This, in simulation with the contrasting contemporary style of furniture and wall graphics, creates a dynamic space that reflects the balance of legacy and innovation that the company aspires to.

Seen here is the exterior facade of the office where the outer grey sturdy walls converge and opens up to the inside interiors.
