Yasawi Foundation recently supported an A two-day International conference “Muhammad Hyder Duglati—the golden bridge between Kazakhstan and India held at University of Kashmir from 25-26 January 2018

A delegation of the Taraz State University led by Rector Mahmetgali Sarybekov and Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Science of Kazakhstan Absattar Derbisali attended the conference. The delegation also included professors and students of the university. Moderators were Ambassador Sarsenbayev and Professor G.N. Kahki, Director of the Centre of Central Asian Studies of Kashmir University

Affan Yesvi, CEO Yasawi Foundation presented a paper in the conference.

Yasawi Foundation Organises Khidmat Camp at Dargah.

Srinagar - Yasawi Foundation has organized a Khidmat Camp on the Eve of Meraj-e-Alam for five days from 24-28th April at Dargah Hazratbal for the devotees.

Volunteers and members of foundation provided various support and help to devotees. A water distribution stall/ First Aid point/ ambulance etc was placed in service for the devotees.

Besides this the volunteers also helped devotees to reach the shrine from bus/ cross roads,manage traffic,etc

The CEO of foundation has appreciated the service provided by the Volunteers and the team of Foundation during the Khidmat Camp and hoped that with their support and patronage the foundation would continue serving the people.

Tonight is the 27th Rajab thus tonight is Layla-tul Isra wal Mi’raj – The Prophet's peace be upon Night Journey and Ascension.

Glory to Allah Who did take His servant on a journey by night from the Sacred Masjid (in Makkah) to the Masjid of Al Aqsa (in Jerusalem). Whose precincts We did bless. That We may show him some of Our signs. Indeed He alone is All Hearing, All Seeing. (Al Isra 17:1) It is generally believed that the great event of Mi'raj (Ascension to the Heavens) took place in the night of 27th of Rajab.

The night Journey (al-Isra') of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was a journey from Makkah to Jerusalem and was followed by the Heavenly Ascent (al-Mi'raj) which took the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) through the seven Heavens and brought him to the All Mighty Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. It was one of the most incredible events in the history of humanity and occurred at a time when the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) was going through the most difficult phase in his life.

This incredible journey undertaken by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) through the power of Allah ensured that his faith remained unbending and enabled him to face the vast challenges to come during his Prophethood. Thus the significance of the Night Journey, shows the highest rank and honour given the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and realisation of the Greatness of Allah's power.

Nami danam chi manzil bood shab jaay ki man boodam;
Baharsu raqs-e bismil bood shab jaay ki man boodam.
Pari paikar nigaar-e sarw qadde laala rukhsare;
Sarapa aafat-e dil bood shab jaay ki man boodam.
Khuda khud meer-e majlis bood andar laamakan Khusrau;
Muhammad shamm-e mehfil bood shab jaay ki man boodam.

I wonder what was the place where I was last night,
All around me were half-slaughtered victims of love,
tossing about in agony.
There was a nymph-like beloved with cypress-like form
and tulip-like face,
Ruthlessly playing havoc with the hearts of the lovers.
God himself was the master of ceremonies in that heavenly court,
oh Khusro, where (the face of) the Prophet too was shedding light
like a candle.
