फिल्मी दुनिया जितनी चमकदार दिखती है, उसके पीछे उतनी ही कठिन सच्चाइयां छिपी होती हैं। कई कलाकार कड़ी मेहनत के बावजूद लंबे समय तक टिक नहीं पाते। ऐसे ही एक अभिनेता पृथ्वी की कहानी भी है, जिन्होंने अपने करियर की शुरुआत में ही पहचान बना ली थी, लेकिन बाद में उनका करियर पटरी से उतर गया।

बताया जाता है कि ‘दीवाना’ और ‘डर’ जैसी फिल्में, जिन्होंने शाहरुख खान को स्टार बनाया, पहले पृथ्वी को ऑफर हुई थीं। उस दौर में उन्हें एक उभरते हुए सितारे के रूप में देखा जा रहा था, लेकिन कुछ शर्तों और फैसलों के कारण उनका करियर आगे नहीं बढ़ सका और वह धीरे-धीरे फिल्म इंडस्ट्री से दूर होते चले गए।
