Johann Sebastian Bach wrote the letters SDG at the bottom of every piece of music he ever composed.

Soli Deo Gloria. To God alone be the glory.

Not just on his church music. Not just on his cantatas and passions and oratorios. On everything. On dance suites. On instrumental pieces. On the exercises he wrote for his children and students. Every single composition carried that dedication — a deliberate, consistent act of attribution that said everything about how Bach understood what he was doing.

He also wrote JJ at the top of most scores before he began. Jesu Juva. Jesus help me.

Every composition began with a prayer and ended with a dedication.

Bach is widely considered the greatest composer who ever lived — a status that even his rivals and critics in his own era struggled to deny. The Well-Tempered Clavier. The Goldberg Variations. The Mass in B Minor. The St. Matthew Passion.

The Brandenburg Concertos. Music of such mathematical perfection and emotional depth that musicians and composers two and three centuries later found it inexhaustible.

What most people don't know is that Bach was also a serious biblical scholar. He owned and annotated a three-volume theological commentary on the Bible — his annotations are still studied by scholars today. His understanding of Scripture was not casual or conventional. He brought the same rigorous intelligence to theology that he brought to counterpoint.

He saw music as a branch of theology. He believed that well-ordered music was a glorification of God and had a practical effect on the soul.

Albert Schweitzer — himself a concert organist as well as a theologian and physician — wrote that Bach's music embodied a relationship with God that was far more profound than what many theologians had managed in words.

Historically, the concept of innate musical “talent” was heavily promoted by the elite. It was designed to keep music exclusive, framing it as a divine gift given only to a lucky few, rather than a beautiful skill anyone could learn. 🏛️✨

Unfortunately, this centuries-old gatekeeping still lingers today, and our neurodivergent kids are often the ones who pay the price.

Traditional music environments can be rigid and overwhelming, shutting out autistic learners before they even play their first note simply because they process the world—and learn—differently. So many parents have to watch their children get excluded by a system that was never designed for them.

But here is the wonderful truth: music belongs to your child. It is a universal language, not a VIP club. If you have constantly had to fight for inclusive, sensory-friendly spaces for your little one, please know that they absolutely belong in the musical world.

Their brilliant, uniquely wired brains are fully capable of making and enjoying beautiful music when the approach respects their needs. 💛🎶 Let’s break down those outdated barriers for our kids.

This is the testimony of twin sisters Kylie and kyvie.

"12 years in the music industry and honestly, it wasn’t always about talent. It was forcing ourselves to practice when we didn’t want to. Learning repertoire we may not like, practicing scales even when it's no one's favourite.

It was our mom pushing us on the days we wanted to quit, when we couldn’t see what this could become. it was investing time and money into 19 years of learning.

It was saying yes to every orchestra, every rehearsal, every opportunity, because we needed to be seen. trying to get our name out there, even when we felt small, unnoticed, replaceable.

It was sacrificing a “normal” childhood. Eating in the car, stuck in traffic, changing between places just to make it to rehearsal. Missing out, showing up tired, and doing it all over again the next day. So much comparison and competition in this industry, but we choose to do our best and focus on our own journey.

Some days we get so stressed and exhausted we just feel like giving up and switching careers. There aren't many rest days, only room for improvement. it's not a hobby, it requires effort and work. it's not just discipline but choosing to stay committed and keep growing. no one really sees and talks about this part.

The frustration, the pressure, the doubt. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PROCESS AND NOT THE RESULT, YOU LEARN AND KEEP GOING THROUGH THE HARDEST TIMES. BUT THIS IS WHAT IT TOOK TO GET HERE. AND MAYBE PASSION ISN’T ALWAYS LOVING WHAT YOU DO, SOMETIMES IT’S JUST NOT GIVING UP. 🎻"

“Nothing in art can be the best. It is only different.” 🎹🏛️

In this rare interview filmed when he was 90 years old, the legendary Arthur Rubinstein gives a masterclass in humility and artistic integrity.
Despite being hailed globally as one of the greatest pianists of all time, Rubinstein rejected the very idea of a “best” artist. 🎼🔥

He believed that music is not a competition, but an expression of individual soul and perspective. To him, the pursuit of being “the best” was “sheer, horrible nonsense”—a powerful reminder for all creators today. ✨🕊️ 👇

Do you agree with the Maestro?
Is art about being better or being different?

Ludwig van Beethoven began losing his hearing at age 28, eventually reaching total deafness by 1819.
Yet, his greatest achievement—Symphony No. 9—was composed between 1822 and 1824 when he could not hear a single note externally.

By feeling the vibrations of his piano and utilizing a profound “internal hearing” developed through years of mastery, he created the “Ode to Joy,” the first symphony to ever incorporate vocal soloists and a choir.

This video captures the raw intensity of a man who refused to let silence define his art.
