For centuries, Gotipua has been performed in Odisha, India, by boys dressed as girls.
This ancient tradition is widely regarded as the precursor to Odissi, one of India’s major classical dance forms, preserving its movement vocabulary and devotional spirit through generations.

A Japanese artist, dancer, and movement practitioner, Hikaru Kawasaki is known for blending martial arts, acrobatics, and butoh into a deeply physical and poetic language.
Dance is one of the oldest universal languages we share, long before explanation, long before translation, long before the very human obsession with naming everything.

Fekat Circus Portrait, Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
Fekat Circus, which in Amharic means “blossoming circus”, was born in 2004 in the outskirts of Addis Ababa out of the initiative of a group of young Ethiopians united by a deep and unique relationship of brotherhood and positive values. They had grown up in a suburb of Addis Ababa. They shared a common dream: to create a circus with youngsters who had never imagined to be on a stage in their life.
