Amader Barir Pujo Amader Barir Pujo (ABP), founded in 2024, unites Probashi Bangalis from diverse cities. As a Barir Pujo, we have decided not to actively raise public funds.

Reviving the true spirit of Barir Pujo, we embrace unity and tradition, with every member sharing the joy and responsibility from Panchami to Vijaya Dashami. ABP - Amader Barir Pujo

Founded in 2024, Amader Barir Pujo (ABP) brings together a group of enthusiasts who have previously been part of various Pujos in Kolkata, Sheffield, Bangalore, Nashik, Pune, and more. Many of us are Probashi Bangali (non-resident Bengalis) who have cherished and adopted the tradition of Pujo in our respective locations. ABP was established to recreate the essence of Barir Pujo (home-based Pujo), which is often missing in the current Pujo ecosystem. We operate without a hierarchical structure, ensuring that all members are equal patrons and share responsibilities equally across the five days of festivities, from Panchami to Vijaya Dashami. However, we welcome any donations or contributions from those who wish to support our Pujo.

The most awaited time of the year is approaching! To ensure this year’s Durga Pujo is smooth, meaningful, and truly memorable for everyone, we are officially kicking things off with our first planning meeting.

We’ve got a lot of exciting ideas to discuss, roles to define, and timelines to set. Let’s come together to make this celebration our best one yet!
