There was a time

There was a time
You nestled me in your embrace
Full of overwhelming love
Warmth, soothing comfort
Vibes that said you are safe here
Your troubles and pains are mine from today
Feel secure, I want to fill your life with joy
I want to kiss away your tears
Your sadness and pain, I will pray vanish
I'm there for you , today and forever
Wet Emotions and adoration, affection
Was grateful, blessed delighted
You were my sponge
That time flew away
The warmth turned to cold
Indifference, irritation and anger
The wet evergreen comfort zone
Now dry barren
Emotions disappeared,
Were they really there ?
Sensitivity slowly and steadily
Lost its shine
Insensitivity took over
Machine like existence
All mundane , all routine desires and tasks
That golden time, long over
Now in the pages of the past
As long as breath , memory
Understanding, feeling all gone
Loneliness taken over
More hurting as the heart feels betrayed
Is or was everything disillusionment?
Sure, there was a time !

Just a day,
Let me breathe
Let me have wings of flight
Of hope, of peace
To soar high ,
Among clouds of joy
Just a day
Let me feel alive
Just happy to be
Soaking in good vibes, in desires
Just a day
To feel freedom from
Worries and woes
To forget every tension and anxiety
To hope everything will be alright one day
To get a new lease of life
Even if required, a miracle to happen
Just a day!

The web of fear

How do I face overcome my fear
Why does evil, envy and illwill scare me
They have in the past and still so easily overpower me
They drag me into a fiercely entangled web
Of fears, imaginations that seem real and cruel
Stop my imaginations
My fears, my paranoia
Take me out of those labyrinths of fearful imaginations
Stop my thoughts, when they attack my own wellbeing
The safety of my loved ones
Where is the light in the black darkness
Thick and harsh
Where is your strength, your power
To vanquish all demons
Inner and outer
Where is your healing touch
Your soothing balm
On festering wounds of fear, doubt, worry and despair
Where are your comforting arms
Into which my parched soul will feel secure
After quenching the eternal thirst
In the elixir of your love and compassion ❤️
Oh Lord, wipe away clean the slate of my mind and memory
Where chaotic words and sentences, pictures and scenes unfold
Incessantly, mercilessly
Harassing, throwing me in a sea of turmoil
Entangled in the tight web
Oh how do I escape from
The web of fear !

Words lost rhythm

Words hv lost their rhythm and rhyme
As have moments their chime
As have feelings and emotions their shine
Dripping in pain, anguish
Unfelt, not understood
Empathy, fleeting birds
Failed expectations, hang as pregnant dark clouds
Broken, sad, depressed
Watching the downfall...the slow decline
Incessant suffering of my creators, setbacks, lack of impetus, motivation,
Words have lost their rhythm and rhyme
With newer pains, hurts, disappointments with passing time !

Bleeding tears

Do tears washing your lotus feet
Not move you at all ?
Do tears with dissolved pain , heart rending emotions
Not move you my God, my creator,
Nor you, my dearest?
Do tears bleeding the heart and soul spontaneously,
Not wet your dry heart and make you little emotional too ?
Does the hurt, Anger and desperation
Not make you angry too ?
Does the utter agony, helplessness and despair
Infused into my tears
Not touch you, not prick and bleed your heart too ?
Dont you too feel her pain,
bear to see her suffer
Diminishing by the day ?
Can you bear to see this plight and yet be carefree and happy ?
When countless undeserving people are healthy
Happy and blessed
Why this utterly deserving
Selfless, pure, sacrificing
Noble, courageous
Beautiful soul, suffers day in and day out
Why she cannot be restored, recover, rejuvenate
Why she cannot be at peace, live in the true sense like millions others

Take me in your arms
Like you do a child
Who is scared, petrified
Who feels comfort and security in your embrace
Safe, all fears put to rest

Take me in your arms
Enclasp me in your iron grip
Full of strength, warmth, comfort and solace
Do not mock, make fun of my tears
Do not demean my weakness, my fears, anxiety , tensions
My overthinking, my hyperimaginations

Take me in your arms
Look at me with sublime compassion
Suck the pain from me through your eyes
Drench me with your overflowing empathy, kindness and love
Kiss away my tears dear

Take me in your arms
My heart is restless, wary , yearning
Just to feel at peace , within your heart
Beating close in tandem
Your breath merging with mine
Your soul talking to mine
Our physical selves melting into each other,

Take me in your arms
Let me slide into the ever comforting sleep realm
Where my mind is cut off
So the storm is silent
The waves of turbulence are quietened
The searing , gnawing pain is numbed
With a thought to never wake up, from this peaceful realm

Lost are my words
Lost are emotions like birds flown away
Lost are meanings and reasons
As lucious leaves that blow away in a storm
Lost seems time that was ours
Once our magical era, our friend, our genie
Giving us every joy, every passion, every emotion
Love, laughter and adventure in every lamp rub
Lost my thoughts, my focus, my desires
Do I know them at all now ?
Lost every fervor, every enthusiasm, every hope
Grains of Sand..thats flying away as stormy winds blow
Incessant, nonstop and persistent
Lost is my way even in my favorite poetry garden
Lost are the blossoms of similies and metaphors
Lost are the swaying , dancing myriad of poetic devices abloom
Lost is the rhyme and rhythm
Lost is the beauty in imagery
Lost am I, do I know myself anymore?

Oh to feel that warmth again
To feel that bear hug, the strong clasp again
Oh to feel the security, strength and protection
To face the world, woes and every odd
The carefree and worryless world in your arms
To touch your soul, your very core again
Oh to feel your overwhelming affection and regards
To see your shining radiant love in your glistening pearls
To feel your admiration and pride for me
Oh to feel the utter joy and abandon
The sheer fun and frolic with each other
Oh to connect our breaths in sublime threads
Oh to feel the madness and passion yet again
Oh to feel your heartbeats echo my name
Oh to feel on top of the world
Riding on fantasy clouds beyond the horizon
Oh to be totally enveloped in you in mind, body and soul
With you and only you as my best friend, beloved, soulmate

Thoughts clash incessantly
The war is bloody and brutal
Fire, smoke , screams and
No mercy no sparing
Only aim and target
To hurt, bleed , slice
Pierce and prick
Every thought seemingly more powerful than the other
Every thought birthing a more deadly fear , dread
Imaginations and Paranoia
Run amuck
Painful memories scare
Traumas and turmoils proliferate
In between prayers beseeching
Bursting and breaking down
Emotions swelling, drenching the pure soul
Mute cries, for healing and protection
Anger often flows like hot lava
The red hot thought Ambers, sparks, flying everywhere
The mind, a seething smouldering volcano
On the verge of eruption
Peace on the verge of extinction!

Let me Relinquish
Thoughts and imaginations
That torture the mind and bleed my heart
Desires deep rooted
Urges and passions so addictive
Dreams unrealistic impractical, impossible
Anger , the destroyer
Envy , jealousy the pain inflictors
Temptations galore
Of expectations
Of attachments
Of ways to escape the cycle of life
So tired of it all
A fervent Prayer
To merge with you..
No thoughts no emotions no pain
Then Into the lamp of the Holy fire
That's also within my soul
Let me Relinquish it all !
