🚨 Request for Animal Welfare Assistance

Current Time & date (8:30 AM, 5th August)
Location: Yerwada, Pune

I’m a civilian and have been hearing a dog crying/screaming continuously from 4th August, from inside an area where civilians are usually not allowed . I don’t know what the situation is, and I don’t want to make assumptions, but I’m genuinely concerned that the dog may need help.

If any local animal welfare organization, rescuer, or someone who can coordinate with the authorities is able to look into this safely, please do. My only concern is to ensure the dog is okay.

Please share this if it can help reach the right people.

Have you ever wondered why some songs, paintings, or stories stay with us for decades?

A while ago, I watched a video about an artist who transformed the pain and experiences they lived through during the Partition into a song. Years later, that song became timeless. Not because it followed a trend—but because it came from a life that only they had lived.

That thought has been living in my mind ever since.

As artists, it's so easy to get lost scrolling Instagram, Pinterest, or YouTube. We admire beautiful work, study techniques, and sometimes even question our own path. I do it too. I see artists whose work is instantly recognizable, and I ask myself, "What will make someone recognize my paintings as mine?"

The answer I keep coming back to is this:

Maybe the most unique thing I can ever create isn't a style or a technique.

Maybe it's my own experiences.

The places I've walked.
The emotions I've carried.
The memories that stayed.
The moments that changed me.
The dreams, fears, and quiet thoughts that only I have lived.

No one else has seen the world exactly through my eyes.

Someone else may have felt something similar, and that's where connection begins. But the story, the imagery, and the emotions behind my work will always belong to me. And perhaps that's what makes art unforgettable—not perfection, but honesty.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with being inspired by other artists. We all learn by observing. But if I truly want people to remember my work... I think I have to create from the parts of myself that no one else has access to.

That's what I'm trying to do.

What do you think?

Do you believe an artist becomes truly recognizable by expressing their own life and experiences, or do you think there are other ways to build a unique artistic voice?

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts. I'll be reading every comment, and I'd love for us to discuss this together. ā¤ļø
