s at becoming the pivotal, not-to-be-missed destination of the South for music and art lovers, entertainers and artists. Fresh, organic food is an overarching feature of The Storytellers’ Bar. The primary influence is the astounding local produce: organic fruits, vegetables and herbs, bakery items, seafood, Auroville’s artisanal cheeses, fresh pesto, chocolates, gelato; interpreted and guided by Franco-Tamil influences. Several dishes, with their own backstory, surprise in terms of freshness, quality, history and taste. The menu is an insightful guide into local kitchens, satisfying curious palates and minds alike. There is a big focus on the inclusion of local produce in our signature cocktails and molecular concoctions. The menu is an homage to the richness of the organically grown fruits and vegetables found in Pondicherry and Auroville. Many of the beverages have a history rooted in Pondicherry’s culture. Inspired by Pondy’s French architecture, the sea, its International residents and eclectic food, this menu soaks into the Spirit of all things Pondicherry. It is quirky, doesn’t take itself too seriously, is inclusive of the various cultural influences Pondicherry has to offer, yet has an underlying intelligence in design. The space has been co-created by Dilip Kapur, President, Hidesign; Simran Mulchandani, co-founder Mach One Associates and Blue Frog; Ayaz Basrai, co-founder, Busride Design Studio and Kapil Thirwani of Munro Acoustics.
