🎭 Successful Performance of “सोनकेशी” – 🎭

We are delighted to share glimpses from our recent play “सोनकेशी”, beautifully presented as part of the 50th Konkani Drama Festival organized by Kala Academy. The performance was held on 4th November 2025 at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda, Goa.

The show was a great success! The audience response was overwhelming, and it was truly rewarding to see the hard work, creativity, and passion of our entire team come alive on stage.

A heartfelt thank you to all the cast, crew, and support members for your tireless efforts, dedication, and spirit of teamwork. Each one of you played an important role in bringing this production to life, and your contribution reflects the true essence of our theatre family.

🎭 Rudreshwar Panaji’s ‘Medea’ Triumphs Again! 🏆

Rudreshwar Panaji has once again etched its name in theatrical history with a stunning victory at the prestigious 63rd Maharashtra Rajya Natya Spardha. Their powerful production, ‘Medea’, clinched the 1st Place along with five other accolades, showcasing Goa’s exceptional talent on a grand stage.

Presented on 21st February in Mumbai, ‘Medea’ competed against 44 remarkable plays from across Maharashtra and Goa, yet emerged victorious with accolades in multiple categories:

🏅 Best Director (1st Place) – Gangaram alias Satish Narvekar
💄 Best Make-up (1st Place) – Eknath Naik
🎭 Best Female Actor (Silver Medal) – Vaishnavi Pai Cacode
🏗️ Best Set Design (3rd Place) – Yogesh Kapdi
📜 Certificate for Acting – Manuja Lokur Narvekar

This incredible achievement follows ‘Medea’s’ earlier triumph at the Marathi Rajya Natya Spardha, where it secured 1st place alongside eight other prizes. This earlier win earned ‘Medea’ a coveted spot in the Maharashtra Rajya Natya Spardha Finale — a moment that has now turned into a glorious victory.

Notably, this is Rudreshwar Panaji’s second time winning the top spot at this prestigious competition. Their previous success was in 2020, when their production ‘Palshetchi Vihir’ took home the 1st Place title.

🎬 Congratulations to the entire team of ‘Medea’ for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding talent! Goa is proud to witness this phenomenal achievement on such a grand stage.
