A work I finished a while back for a song writer and a critic (Genre: Heavy Metal)
Based on poetry about Kaal (Black or God of death) or time and it's vicious cycle feed by man's lust for more and more...

This creation has been a journey at many levels. This is my rendition of kaal, while it is traditional shown in a completely different way.

Created using lead, charcoal and acrylic on hand made paper.

With client's permission, this is available as tattoo project (Full back) and poster prints as well.

This design was developed keeping conch and Japanese wave in mind, with a design aspect that you would see in works of Chola Empire era designs
And to that I added my love for far East oriental designs.

A tattoo I did the other day. A lady came requesting just "Sarika" written on her left arm.
I have never gotten around the notion of people being clients or customers. I have always thought of them as people who love art and would like to embrace art on them, something that they could carry with themselves. whatever their reasons might be...
So I researched and gotten to know Sarika means beauty or natural beauty. So I designed this for her and she loved it.
This is what she got. She loved it, hope you like it too.

Oriental tattoo I recently finished on

This was designed from scratch keeping her in mind. However, I wanted to mildly stray away from the usual smooth oriental wave designs.
Keeping mother nature in mind as well, the koi was built to be more feminine, waves were made more aggressive.
