Yesterday ,we had a wonderful time at a Pottery workshop making Nerikomi Plates by hand.
It was a beautiful day ,place and setting.
Our host enlightened us on history , geography and science of clay. Wasn't as easy as it looks in those ASMR pottery reels. We had a lot of fun😊

Many many years ago, when I was obsessed with sketching and Portraits.
Each year during Diwali saaf safai ,they are opened ,dusted and put back.
The first one ,the man with the lamp, was a gift for ,but somehow it has remained with me because I kept it.😛

Cannot emphasise this enough: An eraser is a more important tool than your pencil in charcoal sketches. 😁
