My Sherpa poetry book “KOMPA” (གོམ་པ།།) was officially released on 5th October 2026 by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Dukpa Sherpa, General Manager, Transport Department, along with other distinguished guests.

The book is dedicated to my beloved grandparents, Late Chung Norbu Sherpa (Karbari Kancha) and Late Mingma Laki Sherpa (Karbari Kanchi).

My sincere gratitude to our Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Special Guests, dignitaries, and everyone whose presence, blessings, and support made the REWA BAND Music Video Premiere and “KOMPA” Poetry Book Release a great success.

As only a limited number of copies were available for the event, I will inform you all as soon as the next batch arrives. Thank you for your patience and love.

Your encouragement inspires me to preserve and promote our Sherpa language, literature, music, and culture.

Thank you all for being part of this memorable journey.

Heartfelt Gratitude

My heartfelt gratitude to the Tendong Lho Rum Faat 2026 Organising Committee and the YONGTHOOM 3rd Edition Organising Committee for felicitating me on this historic day in the presence of the Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister.

I am deeply thankful to Ren. Norden Lupon for his guidance and for teaching me traditional dances and percussions, and to Ren. Lupon Mickma for teaching me Puntong Pulit.

My sincere gratitude to my parents for their constant support and to all my friends who have always stood by me.

And lastly, my heartfelt thanks to everyone who believed in me and considered me worthy of this honour. I am truly grateful for all the love, guidance, support, and blessings I have received throughout my journey.
