Nadiad KalaMandir "Nadiad Kala-Mandir" is a Gujarati Drama Organization which was established before our independence on 1st May 1939 At That time Lt. "Poet" Mr. Devdas Pandya, Mr.

In 1939, The time when Second World War was major issue for whole world, India was still fighting for Independence. Govindram Vyas, Mr. Mansukh Rana, Mr. BAlKrishna Vyas established Nadiad Kala-Mandir in order to support ongoing independence activities and social awareness by performing their first street play "Achhoot Kon..??" which was pretty much related on past/current cast system of Indian s

ociety. This act was performed several times and than 1942 , new Natak "Jay Hind" in order to support our national heroes. That time is considered as "Golden" time in history books, because TVs and entertainment sources were more costly than real gold. So Street Dramas were highly "on demand" entertainment sources. Time by time Nadiad Kala-Mandir and team members, actors become a part of Nadiad's honor. And since 1939 to today, this organization is still working and breathing to stay forever in Nadiad's heart.
