Victim and Perpetrators: Saurabh Rajput, a 29-year-old former Merchant Navy officer, was allegedly murdered by his wife, Muskan Rastogi, and her lover, Sahil Shukla.
Murder Details: On March 4, 2025, Muskan and Sahil reportedly drugged Saurabh, stabbed him to death, dismembered his body into approximately 15 pieces, and concealed the remains in a cement-filled drum within their rented apartment in Meerut's Indira Nagar area.
Discovery and Arrest: Concerned by Saurabh's sudden disappearance, his family filed a missing person report. Police investigations led to the discovery of the cement-filled drum containing Saurabh's remains. Inconsistencies in Muskan's statements during interrogation resulted in the arrest of both Muskan and Sahil.
