There has been intense discussion in recent weeks about bus safety in India — some factual, some speculative. To bring clarity, IntrCity SmartBus sat down with
two of the country’s most respected bus body manufacturers: MG Group and S. M. Kannappa Automobiles.

With nearly 100 years of combined experience, our two organizations have built thousands of certified, compliant buses that operate across India every day.

MG Group proudly delivered the very first TIGRA coaches to one of our valued partners, Royal Rich India, marking another milestone in our journey of engineering excellence.

Based in Kerala, Royal Rich India has been part of the MG family since 2022, operating a growing fleet that already includes over 15 GliderZ+ coaches. Their continued trust in MG reflects our shared commitment to quality, reliability, and passenger comfort.

This week, Mr. Sanju K.K from Royal Rich India visited our Belagavi manufacturing facilities to take delivery of the first two TIGRA super-premium coaches, and shared highly positive feedback on their experience with MG so far — from design to delivery.
