On our recent visit to Abu Dhabi, we had the chance to explore Zayed National Museum , a space inspired by the vision and legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE and a lifelong champion of cultural heritage.

Located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, the museum takes you on a journey through the UAE’s history, traditions, values, showing how the past continues to shape the present and future.

The architecture is elegant, symbolic and beautifully integrated into its surroundings, making the experience as visual as it is educational.

Through the galleries, research and public programmes, the museum invites visitors of all ages to keep learning, reflecting and connecting with the cultural story of the UAE.

A place where history, architecture and storytelling come together.

Last week we had the opportunity to visit exhibition ‘Two Clouds in the Night Sky’ by Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim at Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi which offered us powerful reminder of how deeply place can shape artistic practice.

As a pioneer of contemporary art in the UAE, Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim’s work is rooted in observation, repetition and a meditative engagement with nature.

Drawing inspiration from the landscapes of Khor Fakkan, his process-driven practice encourages us to slow down and notice form, colour and rhythm as extensions of the natural world.

This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how art can emerge from daily rituals, materials and sustained attention while offering valuable insights into contemporary art practices shaped by environment and intuition.

If you are in Abu Dhabi, we highly recommend to visit and experience this exhibition and the works in person. On view until 22 February.

We are excited to share few moments from a special drama performance, beautifully led by the talented team at Junction Academy together with the wonderful teachers at Mayoor Private School in Abu Dhabi.
The students brought so much energy, creativity and heart to the stage and every moment reflected their dedication and hard work.
A huge congratulations to all the young performers for their outstanding effort and confidence and to the teachers for their guidance and support.

Our ‘Living Pigments’ workshop at Dubai Design Week 2025 was a huge success!

Participants explored the magic of bioenzyme fermentation, discovering how fruit and vegetable peels can transform into natural pigments for dyes, skincare, and homecare. Together, we experimented with natural pH shifts, colour reactions and sustainable materials, celebrating the beauty of nature’s living palette.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our facilitator Sumithra for leading such an engaging and eye-opening session.
