Honestly, real life sometimes writes better scripts than Hollywood.

In 1988, Mehran Karimi Nasseri arrived at Paris’s Charles de Gaulle Airport to catch a flight — and ended up never leaving.

Without valid papers, he was trapped in a legal limbo. He couldn’t enter France, and he couldn’t return to Iran. So the airport terminal became his entire world for 18 years.

He slept on a red bench, kept detailed journals, and slowly became part of the airport’s daily life, forming bonds with staff and travelers.

Even when he was eventually granted refugee status, Mehran chose to stay. The terminal had become his home.

His unbelievable story later inspired the film The Terminal. Mehran lived there until he died in 2022 — proving that sometimes survival, routine, and human connection can exist in the most unexpected places.

A Florida woman was arrested for the second time this month on drug possession charges after deputies found m**h and drug paraphernalia inside her bag, which was literally labeled “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs.”

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the discovery happened during a traffic stop after the driver gave consent to search the vehicle. The bag’s label instantly caught deputies’ attention… and unfortunately for her, it turned out to be the exact opposite of what it claimed.

This feels straight out of a sci-fi movie.

A Silicon Valley startup called Galactic Resource Utilization Space (GRU Space) is officially accepting reservations for a future hotel on the Moon.

The company released early design mockups showing inflatable lunar habitats with unreal views of Earth hanging in the distance.

Here’s the wild part: deposits range from $250,000 to $1 million, depending on the experience you want.

The full price of a Moon trip hasn’t even been finalized yet—and could end up much higher.

The hotel doesn’t exist (yet), but GRU Space is targeting an opening around 2032, with early construction and testing expected to begin before then.
