Sing A Smile Music. Smiles. Everyone. Who are we? We are regular people. We have a regular job, just like you. We have a regular life, just like you. What are we doing? What to do?

But it is time, we decided to break out of this regularity. To get a life, beyond this “get up-go to work-go home” cycle. We decided we should share our regularity with others who do not have it. Spreading Smiles through music. As the name suggests it is a simple attempt to add little notes of happiness in lives of those who otherwise lead lives full of despair. For people who do not have a ‘regul

ar life’ like us. We all love music. Let’s sing a song for the others and see it reverberating in their smiles. Who can do it? You, me and everyone around us. One doesn't have to be a professionally trained music virtuoso. We would prefer the bathroom singers because there singing stands a better chance of getting most smiles. Get together and sing. Just collect a bunch of people who believe in the magic that music can create. Choose some popular songs and just sing like no one is listening. You will not believe the difference it can make to their day. Just a couple of hours of your time can mean a lifetime for them. Where to do it? Virtually anywhere. An orphanage, an old age home or the street. Anywhere you think people are leading less fortunate lives than yours.. How to do it? Just sing. It takes just a couple of hours to do this. And you could do this with as few as two people anywhere around you. If you can’t find people, just check out this space for regular updates and you could join a similar event happening elsewhere. Our 5+ year long journey comes to an at this point.

All of this would not have been possible without your love and support. During this journey, we have received a lot from you: love, happiness, appreciation, encouragement, inspiration, smiles.. the list in endless. All of you knowingly and unknowingly touched our hearts and souls. We would be eternally grateful to you for this and hope that we were able to fulfill our mission at least in part.

This page will continue to be alive. It's a storehouse of some of our greatest memories. However, we will not be able to take anymore requests going forward.

This morning, Smilers visited The Akanksha Foundation’s Service Learning Program and opened the day with a jamming session. This time it was not "music for service" but "music to teach how to serve".
