๐ JUNE READS RECAP ๐
This month, I finally broke through my reading block and ended up reading five books! Hereโs a quick review of each:
โ๏ธ Before the Coffee Gets Cold
This is the perfect read for anyone experiencing a readerโs block. Itโs an easy read with stories that really help open up your imagination again.
Rating: 4๏ธโฃ/5๏ธโฃ
โ๏ธ Before the Coffee Gets Cold - Tales from the Cafe
Building on its predecessor, this one can also be read as a standalone book. The stories are sweet and heartwarming, with an ending that leaves you wanting more.
Rating: 4๏ธโฃ/5๏ธโฃ
๐ฉ๐ผโโค๏ธโ๐จ๐ผ Cleopatra and Frankenstein
This book was all over my Instagram, and for good reasonโthe cover is stunning! The book itself is equally good, featuring multiple characters with each chapter narrated by a different one. I enjoyed this style a lot, although the main plot gets a bit lost in the middle. Nevertheless, itโs a page-turner that I read in just two days. Highly recommend!
Rating: 3๏ธโฃ.5๏ธโฃ/5๏ธโฃ
๐ In the Dream House
This memoir retells the authorโs toxic relationship in her 20s. The book is extremely well-written with a unique storytelling approach, making it stand out among other memoirs.
Rating: 5๏ธโฃ/5๏ธโฃ
๐ซ Evenings and Weekends
I am only halfway through this book, but Iโm absolutely obsessed with the cover and enjoying the story so far. Iโll provide a detailed review next time.
Stay tuned for more reviews, and happy reading!
