Writers produce various forms of literary art and creative writing such as novels, short stories, poetry, plays, screenplays and essays as well as various utilitarian forms such as reports and news articles. Writers' texts are published across a range of media. Skilled writers who are

able to use language to express ideas well often contribute significantly to the cultural content of a society.The word is also used elsewhere in the arts – such as songwriter – but as a standalone term, "writer" normally refers to the creation of written language. Some writers work from an oral tradition.but i we believe writer is"EXPRESSION OF EMOTION" "Ashaar" is all set to provide space for Poets and Lyric Writers to publish their work on-line. provides you with the opportunity to publish your poems on-line and offline both we are making films,videos,audios with your pen work


Please adhere to the following code of conduct. Violation of any rule may lead to unconditional removal from the page

1. No indecent images or pictures. Only the pictures of poets and writers are an exception. All picture posts in violation of the rule will be deleted without warning. Another such attempt will invite the removal of the defaulter.

3. Mention the name with the poetry or story. Write "unknown" if the poet is not known.

4. No Religious post. No hate-post or comment about any school of thought, religion, or belief.

वरना तो भूल जाता हूं मेरी शक्ल कैसी नज़र आती है।

तुझे आईना कर के मैं खुद को तुझ सा ही पाता हुं,
तुम्हारी ख़ामोशिओं में ही अपनी धड़कन
सुनने पाता हुं।।

जुड़ा रहता है दिल तुम से तो मैं मुस्कुरा हूं
अलग होता हुं तुम से तो धुन अपनी गुनगुनाता हुं !

खुशबु!!
कुछ खास सी खुशबुऐं होती हैं
जिनहे हम भूल नहीं पाते कई बार हम में महकती हैं,
न चाहते हुये भी हवा में शामिल हो के सारा मंज़र भी महका जाती हैं ...
क्या है? क्यूँ है? और कहा से आती है ??
कोई खबर नहीं बस हैं और रहती हैं !!
कभी किसी दरगाह के लोबान से महकती हैं और स्कून देती हैं
कभी बे-चैनी में तनहा कर जाती हैं ,
कभी किसी के रुमाल की खुशबों महकती है
और आँख के आँसू पोछ लेते हैं
कभी किसी जिस्म की खुशबु हम खुद से लिपटी हुई पाते हैं,.कभी किसी के हाथ की सीग्र्ट की महक गम को धुआँ कर देती है ,
कभी किसी नदी के किनारे गीली मिट्टी की महक बारिश में भीगे किसी दुपट्टे को इत्रर जैसे महकती है ...
कभी किसी काली, मैली शाल में से जिंदगी की गर्मी की भी महक से गरमा जाते है हम... और पहरों महसूस करते हैं किसी माँ की गोद के गर्मी

...लेकिन ..आखिर यह खुशबुऐं जाती क्यूँ नही?क्यू घर कर लेतीं हैं हम में ही ,?हमेशा के वासते?

ये... खुशबुएँ यादें हैं ...शायद जो महकती रहती हैं!
आज़ाद पंछी की तरहा दीमाग के जंगलों में चहकती रहती हैं ,
उलझाती रहती हैं अतीत और वर्तमान को ...
और कोई इख्तेयार नही है इन के आने, जाने पर ,इनकी पहरेदारी पर ...
कोई इशारा भी नही करतीं
कोई आहट नहीं होती !!कि इन के आते ही कोई कहीं छिप जाए ...!!!- saira©
