Cost of not creating!
What happens to us when we deny ourselves the expression via creation:
1. Creative envy- feeling a pang of jealousy looking at someone else s work is the way your subconscious tells you that you have unrealised potential. That creating this way is available for you too.
2. Inner tyrant- psychologist Carl Jung believed that parts of expression that are denied start controlling you unconsciously drawing you towards the darker choices.
3. Perpetual search- the feeling of constantly looking for something. Something that is so close but just out of your reach. Unreleased expression wants to come out and it creates a feeling of urgency.
4. Creative angst- the less you create- the more you experience self-doubt and dissatisfaction with your work. Creating frequently helps getting your mind used to the process rather than result and releases the fear of judgement and insecurity.
