Sub: Urgent Action Requested Regarding Zubeen Da's Death

Sir,
With due respect, I, .................., S/o ..............., R/o .........., .........., Assam, would like to bring to your kind notice the following grievance:
1. From various media sources, we came to know that we lost our beloved Zubeen Da on 19.09.2025 in Singapore due to drowning, as per the cause of death mentioned in the death certificate. He was not only a singer for Assam but also considered a family member by everyone in the state. However, we have seen and heard through news channels multiple differing accounts regarding the cause of death, which raises suspicions. We also find that no proper investigation has been conducted so far.
2. Some people were present at the time of the incident, but till now, no one has been examined by the police.
3. There are many screenshots and messages mentioning the names of certain individuals, yet no one has been questioned or arrested.
4. There are videos showing that Zubeen Da was swimming with some people. However, only partial footage has been released, showing the swimming part, and it is unclear what happened afterward. No police examination of the individuals involved has been conducted so far.
5. From media sources, we have come to know that some of the individuals are outside Assam while a few are in Guwahati, yet no action has been taken so far.
Therefore, I respectfully pray before you, Sir, to direct the appropriate authority to take necessary action as per the law.
