It’s time for a journal update 🧚✨

Me and my little journal have been on quite the journey since I last posted on here. From accidentally dropping her in the waterfall, to then totally losing her altogether… in my bag one moment and gone the next, years of doodles and wonderings of my imagination gone in a heartbeat with no hope of return… To mourning, to letting it all go… to finally finding her way back to me weeks later, as if by magic through a dear friend. So she’s a little worse for wear since the last time you saw her. I call her “she” because it doesn’t feel right to use “it” - this journal carrying a piece of my heart that beats through the pages - pages that are now all frayed from the water damage… the running ink creating new colours, blurring some of the pages together and somehow through all of the chaos and destruction, creating new life, new art. A deeper story than before. As is with life.
