Rang De An initiative to generate a sense of community ownership of public places by painting dead trees.

"Jaipur", the very word is magical, conjuring images vibrant with colours, design and aesthetics. But look around, it is a city crumbling under unbridled modernisation and weary apathy of its people. A set of designers, architects, painters, educationists, jewellers and homemakers grouped together to form 'Rang De', an initiative to retrieve the spirit of the Pink City. r taking due permission from the JDA) to generate a sense of community ownership of public places by involving people to create beauty from that which has been rendered redundant. At the same time bring an awareness and appreciation for trees that are alive. However, please take prior permission from the Government before taking up this initiative in your area.
