|| নির্জন এক রাস্তায় আমি একলা ||

শীতের বেলার শুষ্ক গোধূলিতে সূর্যটা তখনও পুরোপুরি ডুবে যায়নি।
দাঁড়িয়ে আছি কোনো এক অন্তিম ক্ষণের প্রতীক্ষায়, যখন মানুষ মানুষের সঙ্গে মিশে যাবে সেই অরণ্যের কোলে, যেথায় সূর্যের আলো পৌঁছতে মানা।

যেথায় আনমনা কোনো পথিক পৌঁছে গেছে স্বর্গের শেষ সীমানা ছুঁয়ে।
এমন এক পৃথিবী, যেথায় মানুষ মানুষের সঙ্গে মেশে না। হয়তো কোনো এক জগত, যেখানে মিশে যাওয়াটাই দেখার শেষ সীমানা।

পৌঁছতে পৌঁছতে বেলা শেষ; সেই গোধূলি আজও নগ্ন নির্লজ্জতার ভয় ধরিয়ে দেয় মায়ের কোলে। সন্তানকে বলি অসীম স্নেহে— ওই পাতাঝরা অরণ্যে যেন না যায়।

সেখানে পক্ষীরাজের মতো নীরবে বসে আছে অরণ্যসুন্দরী। সেই সুন্দরী, যার ডাক শুনে নিশিও বলে, "ফিরে চাই।" যার আহ্বান শুনে প্রভাত বলে, "আমার সময় এসেছে ফিরে যাওয়ার।" যার ডাক শুনে পাখিরাও আবার গান গাইতে চায়।
সেই ডাক নিস্তব্ধ মনে লিখে চলে তোমায় আর আমায়। ভালোবাসা আর ভীতির সংমিশ্রণে জন্ম নেয় এক অদ্ভুত মোহ।

আর সেই মোহে জাতক-জাতিকা বসে আছে অন্তিম আশার কামনাই। আশা জীবনের ইতি নয়। তাকে বল মোহের একটি অংশ। সকলের মধ্যে বেঁচে থাকা ভালোবাসা নাকি একটা প্রেম যার মায়ায় বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়েছে পৃথিবী।

আর সেই পথিক আমি যাকে ভালোবেসে দেখেছি এই অরণ্যের শেষে । এই রূপসী যার মায়া বিস্তার করেছে আমার জীবন। আমি তাকে ভালোবাসি। হ্যাঁ আমি তাকেই ভালবাসি। আর জীবনের শেষ দিন পর্যন্ত ভালোবেসে যাবো।
এটাই ধ্রুব সত্য

An old gardener once told me something I carried for years without realizing it. He said, "Flowers do not compete with one another. They simply bloom when their season arrives."

At the time, I nodded politely and thought little of it. But later, whenever I found myself measuring my progress against someone else's, those words returned to me. The rose does not resent the lily for blooming first. The sunflower does not hurry because the jasmine has already opened its petals. Each one unfolds according to its own season, its own quiet timing.

I think much of my unhappiness came from believing life was a race. I kept looking sideways, counting the distances others had covered, wondering why I was still where I was. The gardener's words taught me another way to see things. Growth is not delayed simply because it is unseen. Seasons arrive differently for everyone.

Since then, I have been a little kinder to time, and a little less impatient with myself.
