Heartbreak

Heartbreak comes on silent wings,
A shattering of tender things.
A fragile world now torn apart,
A quiet ache within the heart.

The dreams once shared, now swept away,
Like shadows fading with the day.
The laughter lingers, bittersweet,
A ghost of joy that can't repeat.

It bends the soul, but doesn't end,
A pain that time may someday mend.
For through the cracks, new light will stream,
A softer hope, a fragile dream.

Heartbreak teaches, though it stings,
Of love's deep cost and all it brings.
And though it hurts, we learn to know,
That even sorrow helps us grow.

Barriers

Barriers rise, both strong and tall,
Shadowed edges that silence call.
Built by fear, by pain, by doubt,
To keep the unknown firmly out.

Yet cracks appear where light breaks through,
A golden thread of something new.
A whispered hope, a daring plea,
That love might set the boundaries free.

These walls, though mighty, cannot stand
Against the warmth of a reaching hand.
Brick by brick, they start to fall,
Revealing truth beneath it all.

For barriers may shield the heart,
But keep us worlds and dreams apart.
To break them down is to begin
A life where trust can enter in.

Two hearts divided by a pane,

Through crystal clear, they meet the gaze,

Fingers trace the boundary’s line,
Yearning for the touch divine.
Reflections merge, but can’t embrace,
A love confined in time and space.

The glass refracts what words can’t say,
Hope and longing on display.
Each heartbeat echoes, soft and true,
A silent promise to break through.

Though barriers rise, their spirits press,
Through every shard of tenderness.
For love transcends the glassy wall,

Beneath the waves where secrets sleep,
In ocean's depths, serene and deep,
Lie orbs of light, with mystic gleam,
A sailor's tale, a dreamer's theme.

They pulse with hues of emerald glow,
Casting shadows in the world below.
Like trapped starlight in liquid spheres,
They hold the songs of ancient years.

Are they jewels of the ocean's crown,
Or whispers of worlds long drowned?
A mystery adrift in the brine,
Sea-orbs glisten, both strange and divine.

The tides will rise, the tides will fall,
