Feet firmly planted on the ground I look up at a defiant sky, the dome of our existence. I see no fairness there, no sense of responsibility. Some days are dark, angry, bitter spitting rain, hail, fire and brimstone. Others calm, serene with light fluffy clouds as if there wasn't a care in the world. Why? I ask myself are some people drawn towards the former, and others towards the latter.

Mans vary in their preference towards sweet things; some of us dislike them while others may as well be addicted. But for those of us who have a tendency towards sweetness, why do we like what we like? We are hardly limited by type; our preference spans across both food and drinks, including candy, desserts, fruits, sodas, and even alcoholic beverages.

We’re born with established likes and dislikes. Craving for sweet foods is partly hereditary.

The enjoyment you feel from eating something sweet is facilitated by the same morphine-like biochemical systems in the brain that are thought to be the basis for all highly-rewarding activities.

From an evolutionary standpoint, our survival depends on our ability to take in energy from our diet. One of the major sources of energy is carbohydrates, which include sugars. In order to maximize our energy intake, our preference for food generally rises with its sweetness intensity.

Faith is trust, assurance and confidence in God. Living faith is shown by service and obedience to God. God will increase our faith if we fervently ask and draw close to Him.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is the substance or assurance of things we hope for, but have not yet received. Faith (confidence, belief, trust) is also our evidence of that which is not seen—the invisible spiritual things. Faith comes before a prayer is answered or before an individual has received what he or she has requested from God. If we have received what we asked for, then faith is not needed.

Questions about the nature of ultimate reality have been asked as long as humans have been conscious. For thousands of years, across thousands of cultures, belief in a supreme being has been more or less common but some have always called into question whether or not God exists or can even be known.

By "God" we mean the metaphysically ultimate being, all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good, timeless, simple and devoid of any anthropomorphic qualities. We do not necessarily mean the Hindu God(s) or Jesus, although these ideas may share some overlap.

So is there a God?
Well, its a matter of debate that shall go on till the end of human civilization on earth.
