Needless to say, for a dancer, yoga is not just a practice, but a constant healing companion.
So wishes you Happy international yoga day and happy healing in the process.
BTW this posture is a different variation of Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana (Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose) but done in a low squat or arm-supported version, making it closer to an arm-balance transition pose.
I have also tried the more commonly known version with a standing leg.
