Sharing these pictures fills my heart with immense sorrow. I never imagined that a day would come when I would share them with the heartbreaking news that my best friend, my dear younger brother, the Doyen of the Farukkhabad Gharana, tabla maestro Ustad Sabir Khan, passed away on 14th May 2026.

We spent such beautiful times together, performed countless concerts, and travelled on many tours side by side. Today, he is no longer among us, and this pain is something I will carry for the rest of my life.

May Allah forgive him, shower His mercy upon him, and grant him the highest place in Jannat. Ameen summa ameen.

I humbly request all of you to please pray for the magfirat of my beloved brother.
