Exploring the space between preparation and spontaneity.

A little playing through Billie’s Bounce → Afro Blue, without having rehearsed the set beforehand.

I wanted to see what happens when I rely less on what I’ve planned and more on listening, reacting and trusting the music in the moment.

There’s plenty here I’d like to revisit — but that’s what makes these sessions valuable.

Still learning. Still developing. Still finding my voice. 🥁

Some say music is an art. I believe it is something even deeper.
Before we learn to speak, we respond to rhythm. Before we understand words, we feel vibration. Music reminds us that beneath our languages, beliefs, and identities, we all share the same pulse.

This World Music Day was a celebration of that invisible thread that connects us all. Every note played, every rhythm shared, and every silence between them tells a story that words never can.

Grateful to have shared the stage, the energy, and the joy of making music together. May we never stop listening, learning, and creating.

Happy World Music Day. 🌍🎶

Had a wonderful time performing at Ampm and Tollygunge Club for the Turtle Therapy & Women’s Day Celebration. 🥁✨Two different venues, two different energies, but the same love for music! Grateful to be part of a celebration that brings people together through music, positivity, and good vibes. Moments like these remind me why I love being on stage.

Cupid’s got rizz… and so do we. ❤️🔥

Tonight, 9 PM onwards — we’re bringing the vibe, the groove, and a little bit of sober mischief to the stage. 🌹✨

“The Riz Connection” — come for the date, stay for the music.
Let’s make 14.02 a night to remember.

See you there. 😉

Vente Negra - The outro is not the end… it’s the release.
That last groove of “Vente Negra” — tension, fire, and surrender.
The song’s lyrics express longing and desire for a loved one who is far away. The repeated plea “Vente pa’ ca” (“come here”) highlights the desperation for reunion.
Music like this doesn’t just play… it moves you. 🥁✨
Grateful to express it through rhythm.

Every groove carries a history.
Mine is built on time, patience, guidance, and gratitude.
I’m reminded that every note carries a journey.
A journey shaped by time, gurus, stages, silences, mistakes, friendships, and the countless moments that have made me who I am as a musician today.

I hold deep gratitude for everything that has happened along the way—every rhythm learned, every opportunity given, every lesson earned. This path has shaped my sound, my spirit, and my voice. Tonight .y.los.gatos goes live at 🎷
