🌍 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026 🌍

International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (Anti-Drug Day) was observed on 25 June 2026 at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET). The programme was organized in association with the RSET Anti-Narcotic Cell, RSET NCC Unit, RSET NSS Unit, and the RSET Student Welfare Department.

The event featured an awareness session on “The Importance of Total Avoidance of Narcotic Substances and Drug Abuse” conducted by Mr. Manoj M., Sub-Inspector of Police, Infopark Police Station. The session highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle, and the role of students in building a healthy and responsible society.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Ajith S, Coordinator of the RSET Anti-Narcotic Cell, followed by the inaugural address delivered by Rev. Dr. Jaison Paul Mulerikkal CMI, Principal, RSET. An oath-taking ceremony led by CSM Ashil Augustine Antony of the RSET NCC Unit inspired participants to pledge their commitment towards creating a drug-free society.

The programme was attended by Dr. Hari C. V, Vice Principal, RSET, Heads of Departments, faculty members, student representatives from various clubs and professional bodies, and representatives from all classes.

The enthusiastic participation of students and staff made the programme a meaningful success and reinforced the importance of awareness, prevention, and collective responsibility in combating drug abuse and promoting a healthier future.✨🚭

🧘‍♀️ International Yoga Day Celebration 2026 🧘‍♂️

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 19 June 2026 at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET). The programme was jointly organized by RSET NCC, RSET NSS, and RSET Physical Education.

The event featured a yoga session conducted by Rev. Dr. Prasant Palakkapillil CMI (Director, RSET) in the presence of Rev. Dr. George Peter Pittappillil CMI, Chairman, AADC, RSET and other faculty members. The session highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle.

A total of 114 participants attended the programme and actively took part in the yoga practices and breathing exercises. The enthusiastic participation of students and staff made the event a great success and reinforced the significance of yoga in everyday life. 🌿✨

Congratulations to SUO. Helen Anna Robin (S5 EEE) for being selected as Camp Senior, and to Cdt. Anupama N M (S3 ECE) and Cdt. Athulya M K (S3 ME) of Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology for receiving outstanding performance certificate during the CATC Camp held at BSOLS, Choondy, Aluva (21–30 May 2026). Their dedication, discipline, leadership, and commitment throughout the camp are truly commendable and bring great pride to the institution. 👏🇮🇳✨

RSET NCC Cadet CQMS Anagha S has represented the Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate at the 77th Republic Day Celebrations, New Delhi, on 26th January 2026, as part of the nationally selected NCC cultural contingent, performing a dance presentation. She has also been invited to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan on 27 Jan 2026 and selected for the Prime Minister’s Rally on 28 Jan 2026.
