सआदत हसन मंटो उर्दू साहित्य के सबसे प्रभावशाली और विवादास्पद लेखकों में गिने जाते हैं। उनका जन्म 11 मई 1912 को समराला, पंजाब (अब भारत में) में हुआ था। मंटो ने अपने लेखन में समाज की कड़वी सच्चाइयों, इंसानी मनोविज्ञान, विभाजन की त्रासदी, वेश्यावृत्ति, गरीबी और पाखंड को बेबाकी से प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने लगभग 250 से अधिक कहानियाँ, अनेक रेडियो नाटक, लेख और फिल्मी पटकथाएँ लिखीं। उनकी प्रसिद्ध कहानियों में टोबा टेक सिंह, खोल दो, ठंडा गोश्त, बू और काली सलवार शामिल हैं। भारत-पाकिस्तान विभाजन के बाद वे पाकिस्तान चले गए, जहाँ उनकी लेखनी पर कई बार अश्लीलता के मुकदमे भी चले। मंटो का मानना था, “अगर आपको मेरी कहानियाँ बर्दाश्त नहीं होतीं, तो इसका मतलब है कि यह ज़माना ही नाक़ाबिले-बर्दाश्त है।” 18 जनवरी 1955 को लाहौर में उनका निधन हो गया। आज मंटो को सच बोलने वाले निर्भीक लेखक और मानवीय संवेदनाओं के महान कथाकार के रूप में याद किया जाता है।

दो सितारे… दो अलग यात्राएँ… लेकिन मंज़िल एक—दिलों में हमेशा ज़िंदा रहना ✨

इरफ़ान खान – जयपुर से निकलकर दुनिया के सिनेमा तक अपनी पहचान बनाने वाले वो कलाकार, जिन्होंने अभिनय को एक नई परिभाषा दी। National School of Drama से सीखकर उन्होंने छोटे पर्दे से शुरुआत की, लेकिन अपनी गहराई, सादगी और असाधारण अभिव्यक्ति से हर किरदार को जीवंत कर दिया। पान सिंह तोमर में बगावत, द लंचबॉक्स में खामोशी का प्यार, हिंदी मीडियम में आम आदमी की जद्दोजहद—हर भूमिका में वो सिर्फ अभिनेता नहीं, एक अनुभव बन गए। अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर भी उन्होंने अपनी पहचान बनाई और साबित किया कि सच्चा अभिनय भाषा का मोहताज नहीं होता।

ऋषि कपूर – भारतीय सिनेमा के उस दौर का नाम, जहाँ रोमांस सिर्फ कहानी नहीं, एक एहसास हुआ करता था। कपूर परिवार की विरासत को आगे बढ़ाते हुए उन्होंने मेरा नाम जोकर से शुरुआत की और बॉबी के साथ एक नए युग के रोमांटिक हीरो बनकर उभरे। दशकों तक उन्होंने अपने अंदाज़, संगीत और सहज अभिनय से दर्शकों के दिलों पर राज किया। समय के साथ खुद को बदलते हुए उन्होंने अग्निपथ, कपूर एंड सन्स जैसी फिल्मों में मजबूत चरित्र भूमिकाओं से यह साबित किया कि एक सच्चा कलाकार कभी सीमित नहीं होता।

एक ने अभिनय को खामोशी की गहराई दी,
दूसरे ने उसे मोहब्बत और रंगों से भर दिया ❤️

30 अप्रैल 2020… एक ऐसा दिन जब भारतीय सिनेमा ने अपने दो अनमोल सितारे खो दिए।
लेकिन सितारे टूटते नहीं, बस आसमान बदल लेते हैं…
उनकी फिल्में, उनके संवाद और उनकी यादें हमेशा हमें प्रेरित करती रहेंगी।

A little late, but the echoes of the stage still linger… 🎭

On 27th March 2026, celebrating World Theatre Day, PATH (People’s Association for Theatre, Jamshedpur) had the privilege of presenting “Panchi”—a powerful Hindi play by Manoj Mitra, directed by Mohammad Nizam—at civic centre auditorium Rourkela Odisha. The National Theatre Festival 2026, organized by Sampark Rourkela.

Under the glow of stage lights and within the magic of live performance, our ensemble poured heart and soul into every cue, every dialogue, every moment. The overwhelming appreciation we received remains our greatest applause.

Grateful for the stage, the story, and the shared breath between actors and audience.

The curtain may have fallen, but the journey continues… ✨
