A Major Milestone for Education in Tato & Shi Yomi! 📚✨

We are delighted to share that the MoU between the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust has been signed for the establishment of a Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) at Tato, by upgrading the existing Government Secondary School, Tato.

The proposed VKV will function as a co-educational day-cum-residential school, creating new opportunities for quality education, character building, and holistic development of children in the region.

This landmark initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening educational infrastructure and fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Shi Yomi District. Heartfelt gratitude to all those who made this vision possible.

For nearly five decades, the people of Arunachal Pradesh have waited for the effective implementation of the Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act (APFRA), 1978. The time for indecision and delay is over.
APFRA was enacted to safeguard the rights, identity, culture, and freedom of conscience of the indigenous people of the state. Its implementation is not a matter of choice or convenience—it is a matter of upholding the law and respecting the will of the people.
We call upon the Government to honor its constitutional and legal responsibility by implementing APFRA, 1978 in toto, without further delay.
