Contemporary Indian Art cannot be fully appreciated without taking cognizance of the immense cultural diversity that is reflected in India's traditional art practices.
When Devajyoti Ray 's new style of Pseudorealism is discussed, often it is compared with other isms practised in others parts of the world. However Ray's Pseudorealism borrows more from Indian traditions than western ones - whether they be in the motifs or the narratives.

Ray has himself said this many times.

We had a wonderful two-day event on 27th & 28th September ✨

Jacob & Co and TVS Emerald Cascadia came together to present a special art show curated by Harish Kumar Sejekan, featuring works of Indian and International masters along with rare edition Jacob & Co watches.

An Evening to Unite Us for Universal Healthcare

Last Friday, the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR) hosted an inspiring gathering at Hilton, Bengaluru—bringing together doctors, corporate leaders, public figures, and artists for a shared cause: “Right to Heal.”

With leaders from Dell, Aon, GE, 09 Solutions, Airbus and more, the evening highlighted how healthcare, education, and nutrition are the fundamental rights of every child—and the responsibility of us all.

From a soulful invocation by SMSIMSR students, to powerful words by Mr. Prasad Bidapa and Chief Guest Mr. Devajyoti Ray, the message was clear: dignity and healthcare should never be a privilege, but a right.
