‘త్రికాల’ మూవీ రివ్యూ
తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో కొత్త తరహా మైథలాజికల్ డార్క్ థ్రిల్లర్గా తెరకెక్కిన మూవీ ‘త్రికాల’. ఎ స్క్రిప్ట్ ఆఫ్ గాడ్ అనేది సబ్టైటిల్. దర్శకుడు మణి తెల్లగూటి తెరకెక్కించిన ఈ సినిమా కర్మ సిద్ధాంతం, పునర్జన్మ, తాంత్రిక శక్తులు, మానసిక భయం, మానవ భావోద్వేగాలను ఒకే కథలో మిళితం చేసిన విజువల్ వండర్. టీజర్, ట్రైలర్, పోస్టర్లు చూసినప్పటి నుంచే ప్రేక్షకుల్లో ఆసక్తిని పెంచిన ఈ చిత్రం, ‘తుంబాడ్’, ‘కాంతార’ తరహా డార్క్ మిస్టిక్ వరల్డ్ను గుర్తు చేసింది. తాజాగా చాగంటి ప్రొడక్షన్ ‘త్రికాల’ సినిమాను వరల్డ్ వైడ్గా థియేటర్లలో విడుదల చేసింది. ఇంతకీ మూవీ ఎలా ఉందో రివ్యూ రిపోర్ట్లో తెలుసుకుందాం.
కథ:
శతాబ్దాల క్రితం “కుమారి ఖండం” అనే ఒక పౌరాణిక భూభాగంలో కథ ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. అక్కడి మునులు అత్యంత శక్తివంతమైన తాంత్రిక గ్రంథాలు, ప్రాచీన సాంకేతిక రహస్యాలను అసురుల చేతికి చిక్కకుండా రహస్య ప్రదేశంలో దాచిపెడతారు. ఆ సీక్రెట్స్ను కాపాడేందుకు “శక్తి ఏథా” అనే దైవిక ఆయుధాన్ని సృష్టించి, దానిని వీరరాజు త్రికాల వర్మకు అప్పగిస్తారు. అసుర శక్తులపై పోరాడుతూ అతడు మరణించగా, మునులు అతని ఆత్మను ఒక మాయా అండంలో బంధిస్తారు. కలియుగంలో ప్రపంచానికి భారీ ముప్పు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ ఆత్మ మళ్లీ మేల్కొంటుందని వారు చెబుతారు.
ప్రస్తుత కాలంలో శివ (మాస్టర్ మహేంద్రన్) అనే యువకుడు అదృశ్యమైన తన ప్రేయసి నిధి (సాహితి) కోసం నగరానికి వస్తాడు. అతని దగ్గర ఒక దుష్టశక్తి ఆవహించిన ఫోన్ ఉంటుంది. ఈ క్రమంలో అతనికి వైతరణ్ (అజయ్) అనే విచిత్రమైన వ్యక్తి గురించి తెలుస్తుంది. సూర్యరశ్మిని తట్టుకోలేని ‘పోర్ఫిరియా’ వ్యాధితో బాధపడుతున్న వైతరణ్, నిజానికి పునర్జన్మ ఎత్తిన త్రికాలవర్మ. కుటుంబ సంఘర్షణలు, మానసిక వేదనలతో అతను తన తండ్రిని, పినతల్లి (ఆమని)ని హత్య చేసి ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటాడు. కానీ అతని ఆత్మ ఒక భయానక బంగ్లాలోనే సంచరిస్తూ ఉంటుంది.

శ్రద్ధా దాస్ ఈ సినిమాకు మరో హైలైట్. తన పాత్రలో గ్లామర్ కంటే మిస్టరీ ఎక్కువగా కనిపిస్తుంది. సైకియాట్రిస్ట్ పాత్రలో చాలా కంట్రోల్డ్ పెర్ఫార్మెన్స్ ఇచ్చింది. ఆమె స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్ సినిమాకు స్పెషల్ డార్క్ టోన్ తీసుకొచ్చింది. ముఖ్యంగా హారర్, ఎమోషనల్ సన్నివేశాల్లో ఆమె యాక్టింగ్ ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది.

తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో ఇప్పుడు “టెక్నికల్ ఫిల్మ్ మేకర్”గా మణి తెల్లగూటి పేరు వినిపించడం యాదృచ్ఛికం కాదు. ఆయన దర్శకత్వం ఈ సినిమాలో చాలా స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తుంది. సాధారణ దర్శకులు షూటింగ్ తర్వాత VFX గురించి ఆలోచిస్తే, మణి మాత్రం కథ రాసే దశ నుంచే ప్రతి ఫ్రేమ్ను విజువల్గా డిజైన్ చేసినట్లు ఈ సినిమా చూస్తే తెలుస్తుంది.

‘అర్జున్ రెడ్డి’, ‘యానిమల్’ ఫేమ్ హర్షవర్ధన్ రామేశ్వరం అందించిన మ్యూజిక్ సినిమాకు ప్రధాన బలం. మెయిన్ హైలైట్ గా నిలిచి సినిమాను నెక్స్ట్ లెవెల్ లో నిలబెట్టింది. దాంతో పాటు SHAJITH HUMAYUN అందించిన బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ మ్యూజిక్ సినిమాకు ప్రాణం పోసింది. ముఖ్యంగా హారర్, తాంత్రిక సీన్లలో BGM భయాన్ని మరింత పెంచింది. కొన్ని సీన్లలో మ్యూజిక్ కంటే సౌండ్ డిజైన్నే ఎక్కువగా ఉపయోగించడం మరింతా ఎఫెక్టివ్గా అనిపిస్తుంది.
VFX & CGI:
ఈ సినిమాలో VFX చాలా కీలక పాత్ర పోషించింది. మాయా అండం, అసుర శక్తులు, ఆధ్యాత్మిక యుద్ధాలు, ప్రాచీన ప్రపంచాల డిజైన్.. ఇలా విజువలన్నీ రిచ్గా కనిపి్తాయి. CGIని అతిగా కాకుండా కథలో భాగంలా ఉపయోగించడం ప్లస్ అయ్యింది.
ప్రత్యేకంగా ఇంటర్వల్ బ్లాక్లో వచ్చే VFX సీక్వెన్స్ థియేటర్లలో ప్రేక్షకులను ఆశ్చర్యపరచేలా ఉంటుంది. Practical lighting + CGI blend technique సినిమాకు మరింత రియలిస్టిక్ ఫీల్ ఇచ్చింది.

Trikaala: A Script of God is a new-age mythological dark thriller that brings together karma philosophy, reincarnation, ta***ic powers, psychological fear, and emotional drama into one visually immersive cinematic experience. Directed by Mani Tellagooti, the film had already generated strong curiosity through its teaser, trailer, and posters, reminding audiences of dark mystical worlds seen in films like Tumbbad and Kantara. Released worldwide by Chaganti Productions, Trikaal attempts to create a unique mythological horror universe on the big screen.
Story
The story begins centuries ago in the mythical land of “Kumari Khandam,” where sages hide powerful ta***ic scriptures and ancient technological secrets to prevent them from falling into the hands of demonic forces. To protect these secrets, they create a divine weapon called “Shakti Aetha” and entrust it to the warrior king Trikaal Varma. During a fierce battle against evil forces, Trikaal Varma dies, and the sages imprison his soul inside a mystical cosmic egg, predicting that he will awaken again in the Kali Yuga when humanity faces its greatest threat.
In the present day, Shiva (Master Mahendran) arrives in the city searching for his missing lover Nidhi (Sahithi). He carries a haunted mobile phone possessed by dark energy. During his search, he discovers the mysterious Vaitaran (Ajay), a man suffering from Porphyria, a rare condition that prevents him from tolerating sunlight. However, Vaitaran is actually the reincarnation of Trikaal Varma.
Tormented by emotional trauma and psychological conflict, Vaitaran murders his father and stepmother (Aamani) before taking his own life. Yet his spirit continues to haunt a terrifying mansion. Psychiatrist Maya (Shraddha Das) becomes trapped inside the house, while an ancient demon king prepares to rise again and reclaim dominance over Earth.

The strongest aspect of Trikaal is undoubtedly its concept. Performances
