We are "The amphibians" well known band in asansol. We have done many shows in asansol rabindra vaban and outside of asansol like dubrajpur college, muraddi, gopalpur, durgapur etc. We have six members in our band contain. We usually sing Bengali and Hindi songs like nachiketa, anjon dutta, bollywood type and also we have our own composition songs.

Our Story

We are "The amphibians", a well known band in Asansol. its been many years since we started our journey. From the very the beginning we have experimented with our Music as well as live shows and finally decided to answer the call of our very own and close to our heart , Folk. We have always been influenced by our seniors and this isn't an exception. from now on the band will perform and work as a Folk-Rock band Officially. Although that doesn't mean we wont work with other genres. In time we will try to do other stuffs as well. Thank you for all the Support you’ve been giving us till today and we hope this decision of ours will bring us even closer...

back in 2017 we released our Rock Album-Nihoto,which was released from Meera Audio. From Which the song “Monopakhi” was audience favorite,it was also the first song in which we experimented with Folk the very first time. we have released four music videos which can be found in YouTube ,3 songs are from our album and the other one was a single named “Osomapto Prem”. every single video has its own story with different experimentation as well. these videos were also released at “Charu Diary” which is a page from Bangladesh, and received positive feedback from the people ( every video reached 15k views mark). but not only this but our video of “Monopakhi” have 19k views on YouTube and still counting.

because of our 50+ shows around our city and outstations ( places like Raiganj,Haldia,Birbhum etc) we were also invited at 93.5 Red Fm,Asansol to be on air, as well as we got mentioned in a Article on “Anandabazaar Patrika” as a band who are holding the “Baton” of band culture in Asansol along with a few.

Till date all of this has been possible due to you guys, we will expect that the trust and love wont fade away. so lets have fun together and enjoy. Cheers!!!
