DIY DAY The DIY Day is a celebration of music, artists and creative thinkers all under one tent! Join us and help us!

The DIY Day will be a celebration of artists and creative thinkers and we hope to keep this as a 5 part series, and it will consist of music, art, food, poetry, films, photography and much more. Through DIY we want to create a form of distribution where musicians can perform and sell their music and make money out of it, restart the culture of buying CD's, listening to albums and just cherish the

lovely artwork that comes with the music. We want upcoming filmmakers to distribute their films, be it documentaries or feature films and more than anything let them screen their films to an audience. People creating clothing, jewellery, food, accessories can sell their creations and add to the network. Curated by Ghar ka Records in Association with Epic S**t Entertainment and Akshara Theater

Our Ketto campaign closed yesterday and we managed to get close enough to our goal to pay for (most of) our expenses towards the festival! We have the generosity of our 79 supporters on our crowdfund campaign to thank, for helping us make this festival happen and this dream of a DIY Day come true 💙

DIY Day is officially over and we’re incredibly grateful!

After returning from a 10 year pause, the response this year has been deeply heartening. Together we’ve raised ₹1,86,000 so far, which has helped cover a large part of the costs behind making DIY Day possible!

Our total expenses this year came to ₹2,49,000, which means we’ve currently covered about 75% of the total, with 25% still left to raise.

We’re sharing these pie charts to stay transparent about where the funds go. 45% goes directly towards artist fees, with the rest supporting production, logistics, and the many moving parts that make independent music events possible!

We’re now just a few days away from the end of the campaign, and any support at this stage helps us close the remaining gap!

Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep building. More concerts, festivals, house gigs, and spaces for artists and audiences to come together!

Sunday was a whirlwind of beautiful sights and sounds at ! 12 years ago, we had a crazy dream of creating this festival; a space that would be vibrant, diverse, inclusive and intentional! We had the most amazing team to hold this space collectively, these incredible artists and entrepreneurs and supporters all co-creating a space that really aligned with our dream!

We still have a long way to go to get to our crowdfunding goal, to be able to meet all the expenses that went into creating this space, but we're taking this moment to also celebrate 🌻

Putting together a festival like DIY Day takes a village and a half, a long list of thank you's coming up next, but for now, please take in these lovely snapshots of our beautiful Sunday, captured by the best

24 hours ago, we were winding down from this incredible day of performances! and played to a very involved and moved audience at ! We had the best time putting together for you! Here's a few snippets from the music performances, lots more to share with you soon!
