A new patch is now available for Mughals and Rajputs. Update your game now!

Patch V1.09 - Patch Notes:

1. In-Game Tutorial
On Player demand, we have added an in-game tutorial - in both English and Hindi. Players can play this tutorial to understand various game mechanics and learn how to play the game.

2. In Game Rewarded Ads are now clearly notified as such
A new popup warns users on fresh gameplay that the Rewarded Ad System is not a necessary element of gameplay. Its meant for players who are desperate to get some Gold in the game.

3. New Patch Notes Button
A new patch notes button on the Main Menu now shows players information about any available updates and what has been patched in the latest update.

4. iOS - Redeem Voucher or Coupon codes
For iOS players, players can now redeem Apple App Store vouchers inside the Store menu itself.

5. iOS - Default View has been changed to Landscape Left
So as to ensure consistency with the Ads system and the App Store popups inside various Ads, the default iOS view has now been changed to Landscape Left.

6. Android - Default View has been changed to Landscape Left
So as to keep consistency with the iOS version pf the game, the default view has also been changed for Android Phones from Landscape right to Landscape Left.

7. New Review Game Notifications
Added an in-game notification asking players to leave a review for the game. The popups will only show every 5 games and for a maximum of three times. This frequency could change with future major updates and expansions.

8. iOS - Banner Ads positioning
Banner Ads on iOS are now shown on the top-centre position and not bottom-centre position as they were being positioned over other UI elements because of the Home Indicator bar on IPhones.

9. Optimization Changes
Further optimization work was carried out on various game systems to help improve performance on mobile devices.

Mughals and Rajputs के बारे में, मैं आपको एक और अपडेट देना चाहता हूँ — इसी के साथ मुझे फिर एक बार फिर आप सभी से माफ़ी मांगनी पड़ रही है।

Mughals and Rajputs 8 मई को लॉन्च नहीं होगा जैसा कि प्लान था। हमारी नई लॉन्च तारीख 15 मई, 2026 है।

इस बार यह देरी मेरे हाथ में नहीं है। गेम पूरी तरह तैयार है, ऑप्टिमाइज़ है, और Google Play Store तथा Apple App Store दोनों पर सबमिट हो चुका है। हमें सच में उम्मीद थी कि आज गेम रिलीज़ हो जाएगा — और सच कहूँ तो मैंने पूरा दिन इंतज़ार करते हुए बिताया, हर पल यही सोचते हुए कि अब अप्रूवल आई, अब आई।

लेकिन वह नहीं आई। और पूरा दिन इंतज़ार करने के बाद, मुझे यह मुश्किल फ़ैसला लेना पड़ा कि तारीख आगे बढ़ाई जाए, बजाय इसके कि आप सबको अँधेरे में रखा जाये ।

स्टोर रिव्यू और अप्रूवल की प्रक्रिया दुर्भाग्य से मेरे कंट्रोल में नहीं है, और इसमें जितना सोचा था उससे ज़्यादा वक्त लग रहा है। मेरी तरफ़ से बस इंतज़ार करने के अलावा कुछ नहीं किया जा सकता — और मैं आपके साथ इस बारे में पूरी तरह पारदर्शी रहना चाहता हूँ।

यह निराशाजनक है, और मैं समझ सकता हूँ कि आपके लिए भी यह कैसा लग रहा होगा। लेकिन इस बात का जोखिम उठाने से बेहतर था कि स्टोर को एक हफ़्ता और दिया जाए और एक ऐसी तारीख रखी जाए जिस पर मैं भरोसे के साथ खड़ा रह सकूँ।

गेम तैयार है। यह आपका इंतज़ार कर रहा है। और 15 मई को यह आखिरकार आपके हाथों में होगा।

Hey everyone,

I have another update — and once again, I find myself apologizing for a delay I truly wish I could have avoided.

Mughals and Rajputs will not be launching on May 8th as planned. Our new launch date is May 15th, 2026.

This time, the delay is not in my hands. The game is fully finished, optimized, and has already been submitted to both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. We had genuinely hoped to drop the game today — and if I’m being honest, I spent the whole day watching and waiting, hoping that the approval would come through any moment. It didn’t. And after waiting all day, I had to make the difficult decision to push the date rather than keep everyone in uncertainty.

The store review and approval process is unfortunately outside my control, and it is taking longer than originally anticipated. There is nothing more I can do on my end except wait — and I want to be fully transparent with you about that.

It is frustrating, and I can only imagine how it feels on your end too. But rather than risk a situation where the game isn’t approved in time, I felt it was better to give the stores one more week and set a date I can stand behind with confidence.

The game is ready. It is waiting for you. And on May 15th, it will finally be in your hands.

Hey everyone,

I have an important update — and first, a sincere apology.

Mughals and Rajputs will not be launching on April 24th as planned. The new launch date is May 8th, 2026.

This game has been three years in the making, with almost a full year of that spent entirely on optimization. What might look like simple mechanics to a player — placing buildings freely, watching hundreds of units move and navigate the battlefield, finding their own paths in real time — is an enormous technical challenge on mobile hardware. For any development team that's a serious undertaking. For a solo developer, it's something else entirely.

This game was always envisioned as a game made in India, for every Indian — not just those with high-end phones. Millions of people across India play on everyday, modest smartphones, and they have always been at the heart of what we're building. Compromising on performance and walking away from that player base was simply never on the table.

Even after all that extensive optimization work, some issues crept in — likely introduced by recent additions to the game's systems and the expanding unit roster — and caused massive memory problems on devices. At its worst some game systems were hitting around 5 GB of memory usage on phones. After weeks of hard work, we've brought that down to just under 500 MB — a result worth being proud of, but one that came at the cost of this delay.

The game is now finished, optimized, and ready to be tested across a wide range of devices before it reaches your hands. The new launch date is May 8th, 2026. The time period in between gives us ample time to ensure everything is polished before launch.

On a brighter note — now that the dev board is finally clear, I can start working on the gameplay trailer I promised. I can't confirm a date for it just yet, but it is coming before launch. Stay tuned.
